how much do you think it hurt haymitch to see a version of himself on that train on the 74th hunger games. both older siblings who lost their fathers to a mining accidents, 16 years old reaped without actually being chosen and for trying to protect someone, who allied with someone who reminded them of their sibling, who and made a show of love in the games so powerful it terrified snow. haymitch who loved lenore dove, who painted the posters her orange, katniss who loved peeta, whose favourite colour was the orange of the sunrise that lenore dove did not want to see on the reaping. how much of haymitch's grief do you think resides within katniss? the boy who failed at the revolution and the girl who got lucky? the fire from his flint striker? a shadow and a mirror?
