I don’t know what to say. I feel like nothing I say will be enough. I want to scream, I want to cry, I want to walk up the street and bare my chest like Abu Sayed. My country is bleeding. My brothers and sisters are dead, or dying. They’re being picked up by plain clothes detectives during night time raids. They’re being tortured, they’re being disappeared.

The official death toll is 200+, the actual is 1000+. I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to list every death, after all, death registries are being stolen from hospitals by the pigs. I’ve seen too many people die this past week. By people, I mean children. I mean teenagers. I mean university students, high school students. Little kids under the age of 10, killed by gunshots from helicopters.

I don’t know what to say. All I can say is — আমার ভায়ের রক্ত বৃথা যেতে দেব না ।

They will pay. For every single drop of blood, they will pay, we will make them pay.

I don’t care who you are or who you ship or what you’ve done. All I ask is that you take 30 seconds to read this.

Bangladesh is currently on the brink of civil war.

The prime minister, Sheik Hasina is extremely corrupt and has recently stated, and I am paraphrasing, “why should razakars (the ones who supported Pakistan during the genocide they committed in Bangladesh back in the 1970s. Research the Liberation War) take the jobs of the children of the veterans that have fought in the war?“

This has led to mass prejudice. People and the police are harassing innocents, attacking universities, going into peoples home to harm them. There is no proof that these people are razakars, they are attacking based on a feeling of all things.

They are killing and harming people near constantly and Bangladesh has turned off the network over there, keeping people from asking for help from the outside. I am terrified for my friends and family over there. A friend of mine, her cousins are all currently in the hospital from having acid thrown at them and being beaten brutally by the police.

I am not asking for donations or charity of any kind, all I ask is for you all to please educate yourselves and spread the word in whichever way you can. Even a simple instagram story can help. They should not be ignored.

Imagine living in a country where being student is a crime?

That’s where I live. It’s 3:02am, 28th July, Sunday.

The “raids” in my area (which have been going on inn other places for a week) started at 1am. Clever choice of time, everyone is at home.

Police, military, RAB (Rapid-Action-Battalion), BGB (Border Guard of Bangladesh), Special forces and CID, all in one place and helicopters patrolling from above.

They go from house to house and ask “Are there any students living here?”

Then they check the phones, FB, instagram, gallery, chats everything. If they find anything related to protests, even just a simple picture, you get arrested.

Amazing, right?

I made a post before about my grandparents before. How they hid freedom fighters in their home. They also had raids. Pakistani military would ask “Are there any ‘mukti’ living here?” Mukti means freedom.

See the parallels. History is repeating itself. And our mother of humanity should be afraid, she is on the wrong side of history.

The government of Bangladesh killed pressumably 950+ people, innocent people, students, all because they demanded a system that will give them government jobs based on merit rather than quota. To suppress the students Sheikh Hasina and its government imposed 5 days of total internet blackout. While imposing this blackout they killed off anyone of the streets. They killed people from helicopters by shooting and throwing grenades. Many kids died in their own homes as the bullet shot them through their window.

Sheikh Hasina and its police took away all the dead bodies and the death registries from the hospital. The official death toll is 200. But various journalistic and medical staff sources confirm the death toll is over 950 in Dhaka alone.

That monster of a PM didn't acknowledge the death of the students. Instead she is crying over the infrastructure vandalism. I request you,rise up and speak out about this. Educate yourself and let other people know. The internet blackout have suppressed the truth at large. The Bangladeshi people are in deep surveillance and the government have made 2000+ arrests on false charges just because they have shared the Information. There is mass fear mongering. I know most of you people are not Bangladeshis and that's why you need to help us and speak up about it. Join your local protests, share the news in your social media, twitter Instagram. I beg you, don't let my people's murderers get away with it. Don't let my people's death be forgotten.
