And I also really enjoyed the symbolism of her death (even though it was so sad...) I mean, the whole key and knife thing here can be smth like an allegory for gender stereotypes/traditional gender roles and how they harm people. Trans people, if we speak about Hyun Ju

It's like some people think that you can have a key or a knife, that's unchangeable, and if you have a key - you're harmless, and if you have a knife - you're a threat, and that's also unchangeable. The kind of view that makes people think that trans women are a threat to cis women because of the fact that they were assigned male at birth. Like there's some knife that every amab person automatically gets and will want to use it to harm others.

But things are more complicated. Hyun Ju had the same knife that many other players used to harm and kill, but she used it to protect and fight for the safety of other women. Just like trans women were always there, fighting side by side with cis women for freedom and equality. And she died protecting her loved ones. Just like many trans people are dying, fighting for rights. Transphobia kills people. All kinds of discrimination kill people. Trans lives matter.

I love Hyun Ju so much...
