The first drafts for the 2018 installment of the Berlin-based manga&anime convention AniMaCo! Some of the background for “Nadja”, my BA thesis. Some of them were later additionally animated in After Effects using various techniques (ie. A door opening or snow falling).

An overview of BA thesis’ characters! In 2016/2017 I made a music video using vector-based puppet animation. In 2016 I got to design, illustrate and layout the official convention booklet, badges and posters for the Berlin based “AniMaCo” Convention, on of the most well-known events of its kind throughout Germany. I adapted the existing mascots and styled the pre-existing CI so that they fit the chosen “Glamour” theme. A superhero-Duo I designed for a competition earlier this year (the robot is their superfusion ;) ). They got chosen by the jury (big yay! there were a lot of entries!) and placed 15th in the community voting.

Basetone studies, lighting studies, greyscale pre-paiting, acrylic paiting

“Useless”- 2015&2016 My mom really wanted me to finalize the paiting of this character, which I started working on and ended up scrapping at the Imaginism Inhouse LIve Workshop. Everything except the final acrylic was made while at the workshop and under supervision and guidance of the fantastic Thierry Lafontaine. The final painting is roughly A5 sized and on canvas. It took me about 4 hours to complete.
