at first, because they are practically babies and know nothing else. But then they make their own decisions. Like you would follow the person who is the only one you know, who gives you everything you need and he wants something, so you give it to him, but then you start to see the world and interact with it and learn and start making your own decisions, and then you aren't following anymore because you know the difference between good and evil.

Both adhd and autism can have both hyperfixations and special interested at the same time(i have both and most of my friends are also neurodivergent), but in the end if the label doesn't sit right with you there's no need to use it ^-^
