i just have to gush the last episode of crystal was so fucking perfect

like, crystal itself is really fast-paced, it's only been 9 episodes in and the plot has progressed this much (the manga can go slower or faster depending on the pace that you're reading it at). looking back at the manga most of the dialogue is spot-on too. (and they got the details down like nobody's business, they even included mamoru fucking MELTING)

also i almost cried during the hair scene because it was especially beautiful, it shows that they all care so much for her that when she's depressed they're depressed FOR her. in my opinion, it's one of the most important scenes in the series because it's the first time we get to see happy, cheerful, bubbly usagi so broken and lost and it adds so much depth to her and everyone who comforts her
