I finished reading part 1 of STUD a bit ago

Still enjoyable, still funny, but ACD I'm confused bro

I honestly think the earlier chapters are the best ones, it was so fun to read Holmes and Watson's meeting and Watson just trying to learn about this dude while slowly getting more and more fascinated by him

... american gothic horror? Like, the style and time and setting change is insane. but then it connects back. Like wtf ACD. I feel like The Country of the Saints is lwk not talked about enough, despite not really being in the same genre as the rest of the series

Hello!! heard u wanted to get into f1 and were looking for some recs so here are some phenomenal races with some context :)

Abu Dhabi 2021 - probably the most cinematic title fight finish in f1 history. Both title contenders being exactly equal in points going into the race which found a somewhat controversial outcome.

Brazil 2024 - my fav and I’m obviously biased but despite this being on the longer side I promise it’s worth the watch; amazing recovery drive and lots of changing conditions

Some bonus info: this race took place while Lando was closing the gap on the lead in the championship and max hadn’t won a race in 9 rounds, a record he was desperate to hold on to but seemed impossible with a terrific red flagged qualifying that saw him all the way down in p17!

Germany 2019 - just when you start to calm down a little, the next unexpected thing happens this race was pretty crazy

Monza 2019 - “he wins in Spa, he wins in Monza“

Charles Leclerc really proving he is Ferraris future through winning the teams home race for the first time in almost ten years and beating his experienced 4 time world champion teammate the same year

Spa 1998 - if we want to dive a bit into the past this is the first one which comes to mind if we are talking chaotic races

Brazil 2012 the hole 2012 season is honestly amazing but this ended up being a battle for the championship till the very last second Alonso and Ferrari looked to get lucky with this one but let’s just say Vettel was not gonna give up that quickly

Bahrain 2022 the Hopium after this race probably hit like straight cocaine but it also has amazing racing and lots of unexpected turns

Russia 2021 this honestly has it all a young and an experienced driver fighting for the win and amazing recovery drivers to go with it in the midst of a turbulent championship battle!!

This totally got away from me omg hope you don’t mind I just hope it gave you some motivation to get more into this amazing sport!! I’m also pretty new so it’s always nice to help along people who are just starting to get into it:)

baby f1 fan here......

so i really want to get into f1, i know the teams and recognize the (present) racers, and know the memes and such. But i havent been able to bring myself to watch the races! what i mean is that my adhd brain cant focus on them for the whole thing... i heard from someone i know that its because of new regulations or something, theyre 'less exciting'? Im unsure if this is true, but if so, are there any recommendations for previous races that are easier to get into? Dont get me wrong, i think the whole thing is SO cool. (ESP the engineering aspect, i think its sick) But im just struggling to feel like i actually belong in this community is all i do is look at the results and watch clips 😅
