Page 70 of Sailor Moon CX is here at long last. There’s a little pointless animation here, but at least Rubeus has shown himself.
And we have arrived at Page 69 at long last. But where is Rubeus? Where are the droids?
We are on page 68 of Sailor Moon CX. This is admittedly an abrupt transition, but it should be clear they didn’t get to Rini in time. Also, Luna and Artemis aren’t being taken aboard, so this may mean their role in the comic is over...or is it?
Page 67 of Sailor Moon CX is here. It’s not much, but the Four Sisters are officially re-powered! Seeing Rini in danger was just the push needed to get them back into fighting shape.
And Page 66 of Sailor Moon CX is here. It’s not much, but the Sisters are at least taking a more active role.
It’s Page 65 of Sailor Moon at last. This page was harder to put together than it looked, but it’s done now. Rini’s safe. Everyone’s safe...for now.
Page 64 of Sailor Moon CX is here. Rini has made a flying leap of faith!
Page 63 of Sailor Moon CX is here at last. Rubeus is certainly taking an influence from Jedite here.
Oh, and Rini woke up. Rubeus’ spaceship is noisy.
Page 62 of Sailor Moon CX is here. This was a difficult transition and I don’t believe I pulled it off, but here it is.
Page 61 is here, courtesy of my favorite screencap source. As you can tell, the exposition’s almost over, but Serena now knows what the audience knows. Of course, knowing too much about the future could lead to disaster.
Page 60 and the last one for a while. It’s a recap of what we already know, except for the part of the Negamoon falling into the clutches of the Negaforce. This might seem to be a contradiction with what Catzy said earlier about the Negaverse not being evil, but it’s not.
To invert a famous quote: “The Negaverse might be good, but not all of its citizens are.” The Negamoon Family are bad apples because of the bad influence of the Negaforce.
Page 59 of Sailor Moon CX is here. The Negamoon really did come in peace, and they got it. It’s not clear but they did pave the way for peaceful Negaverse-regular universe interactions.
And look, there’s a young Sapphire, but be warned, his presence in the comic might just be limited to this appearance. In fact that’s more likely a Negamoon boy with the appearance of Sapphire.
Page 58, yes, this is uploaded only minutes after uploading page 57. While I could stretch this release out and have a buffer, I tend to upload comics as I complete them. I hold nothing back.
This comic, while my own hodgepodge, is not too far from canon. The major difference, aside from the timing, is we were never shown precisely what happens to the world in the old show.
It’s really dark to think that in the end Sailor Moon’s efforts are going to be for nothing. It makes all the efforts fighting the Negaverse seem meaningless.
Page 57 is up, up, and away. Yes, any people you on this page are who you think they are, but Catzy doesn’t know this, so all she knows is people fought in history.
I may have gone overboard with the darkness in the final panel, but I couldn’t get those two images to merge properly.
Page 56 of Sailor Moon CX is up at last. I have a new source for screencaps so I’ve listed it as a source.
Page 55 is here…three years later. We have finally solved one mystery as to what is going on, only for another one to begin to unfurl.
At long, long last, page 54 is here. It’s basically nothing, but brings up a point that the series does avoid when it comes to redeeming villains. Sometimes, the former villains get to keep their powers and go their merry way; other times they don’t. For instance, imagine if Alan and Ann could have been turned into normal humans – would that have really be considered necessary, or even healing?
