an old globe from 1939 that i have with some cool designs on it!

rambling about searching for its time period under the cut

also thailand is there, it looks like it’d just recently been renamed to thailand because underneath it in parentheses it says siam, and it was renamed from siam to thailand on june 23 1939 so it’s after that.

and then poland doesn’t appear to have been invaded/divided yet sooo it’s probably before september 1, 1939

also it is definitely before october 11, 1944 (because tannu tuva isn’t yet annexed by the USSR)

and before may 10, 1945 because czechoslovakia hasn’t been reestablished

but anyway, I’d say it was made between june 23, 1939 and september 1, 1939 because of those big main points!

and there are lots of other details but ig those were the most significant ones i saw as far as narrowing it down n stuff : )
