today at work a coworker warned me that my patient’s owner let us know her cat is homophobic, meaning he tends to attack gay people violently on sight, which I thought was a joke. but that cat saw me and may have been the angriest cat I’ve ever worked with and DID in fact bite me through Kevlar gloves because he hated me so much

so i wore a pride flag pin to work the other day and the kids were all interested (obviously) (find me a classroom of preschoolers who are not obsessed with rainbows) (i'll wait) so they crowded around to see.

"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"

but the thing is: they're little. a lot of them don't really have a handle on all their mouth sounds yet.

Life update June 1, 2026

Everything in my life is a giant mess right now, but I'm staying strong and determined. Going through a painful breakup, frantically looking for a job, all of my family and friends being hundreds of miles away.. I'm completely alone here in this city, but I'm not giving up. I'm trying my hardest to piece my life together one day at a time. If you'd like to help a disabled lesbian stay alive and afford food, medications, and life needs, here is my info.
