well, this is awkward.

i feel bad after checking my activity for a lil bit and uhhh ;; sad to say that i’m finally abandoning this blog ? it was a long time coming decision but i’ve pretty much outgrew this blog and the fandom. and as much as i try, i can’t conjure the energy to keep writing my 707 ;; much sad. but thank you for those that supported this blog and liked this AU ;-; it was amazing role playing this kind of 707 with everyone.

               “no need to thank me…” she winces at his state, feeling that the offering of her handkerchief isn’t enough. she looks around a bit, thankful that there’s no one else here to gawk or worry. “i’m just glad i was here – you’ve been out for awhile… does that happen often…?” she can’t stop herself from asking so afterwards she kicks herself, wincing at her curiosity. “ah… sorry. never mind that question.”

                 he doesn’t seem to be moving, so leaf continues to commit caring for him. this is the first time she’s really talked to someone in awhile. it feels… kind of nice, truthfully. even if he isn’t here by choice. with a smile, she cants her head slightly, studying his face for any sign of feeling better, “can i get you anything…? maybe something to drink, or – sorry, i haven’t ever really done this before. if you’d like me to help you get home… i don’t think you’re in a state to do that by yourself. oh! my name’s… it’s emiko, but i go by leaf.”

❝ no , don’t worry about it . people are always curious about it ... but yeah , it happens -- ❞ a lot , but he omits that part to lower the chances of raising any more concern necessary . he also opts for making his explanation vague , not betraying anything . his lips stretch into a crooked smile , barely visible but definitely present on his exhausted features .

It took a slight moment to walk through the maze of clothes , empty chip bags and empty cans as he sits on the second computer chair. Both hands were on his lap , it was a good idea to not touch anything on Saeyoung’s desk since it looks… sticky.

‘’ This is something you can’t find online so I need your help out there. I am sure you can find it for me.’’

There was a slight stench in the room , it could be the products on the room or perhaps it was Saeyoung himself but he needs to get a wash before he has the urge to wash him by the hand.

‘’ Go take a shower first. Do you want to go with public transport or with one of your ‘ babies ‘ ? ‘’

with how v visibly avoids every && each mess that is technically the entirety of his poorly kept base , luciel briefly thinks that a later CLEAN UP was in order . or perhaps he’ll just wait until vanderwood has something to say about it && have them clean up for him instead . ( ah yes , the second option seemed much more tempting . LAZINESS AT ITS FULLNESS . ) 

❝ i ... yeah , sure ? ❞ luciel says albeit slightly tentative , but not suspicious . knowing v , the scale of what he wanted to find was ... broad , but the redhead trusted the older male quite deeply in fact . 

❝ SHOWER ? what ? do i smell bad ? i swear i took one this morning ! ❞ he pauses , golden eyes averting beneath the clear lens . he makes it quite obvious that his mind is obscure , that perhaps his memory isn’t gifting him the correct answer to his self inquiry . has it been THAT long that he couldn’t remember or was he correct && the memories are just jumbled in his head due to being in front of the computer for how many hours ?   ❝  -- -- -- i think so , at least . ❞

    Still, something felt like this wasn’t just a hi but he won’t question it further. Luciel was always random in chats but still it was odd. Jumin can’t say he hated his company because that would be a total lie. He only got frustrated at times but if he really were here just as a friend to talk, he’ll accept it. Setting the papers down, he turns completely to his friend. Technology wasn’t his major thing and while he loved being in the chat room to relieve stress, he couldn’t deny that he preferred talking face to face.

   ❝I can take a quick break then if you aren’t in a rush to go anywhere.❞

❝ yeah , OF COURSE NOT ! cmon , you know me better than that ~ ❞ luciel’s smile , albeit thin , is genuine as he beams in front of jumin . somewhere , there is relief . for what -- -- -- he didn't really know . perhaps just because he has someone to help distract him from the abyss that was his mind . ❝ i’m never in a hurry ~ ❞ he chirps , but they both know it’s a joking lie && that luciel was always in some kind of hurry . however , the need to hurry isn’t present in this conversation . unless vanderwood were to call him for an unanticipated mission or was asked to look into something for v , he had no where special to be at .

ODDLY ENOUGH, luciel likes to pass some time by creating random ( long and probably impossible ) mathematical equations in his head and solve them. he mumbles under his breath the steps in solving the equation as well. he finds some odd fun and a little comfort in it, helps him be distracted for some time.

It has been good weather and he had the thought of going out. However not alone , he will take Seayoung with him so he can be out and not be inside.

The boy was young and he needs to make sure he won’t be a closet case despite the work.

His fingers tap in the code in the door that he installed himself , the access was granted as he opens the door and walks inside , closed the door behind him.

A few steps inside and he found him sit at the computer with a bag of chips.

it’s the nicer days that have luciel on edge , surprisingly enough . the CALM before the storm , he keeps thinking it out to be . in his mind , it was always a false sense of security before the blacking out of consciousness returned . perhaps that is why he chooses to remain inside rather than venture out for a breath of fresh air -- -- -- 

but he supposes his new legal guardian wasn’t going to have that from him , considering he catches the moment in which jihyun welcomes himself in && calls for his attention . ( always cared for him a lil more than he did himself , didn’t he ? ) although his attention is barely occupied by anything on the many screens in front of them , he taps his finger noisily against the wood of his desk && hums a distracted response ,

the fault in our stars starters ; @serairy​ – – – NOT ACCEPTING.

it’s only a flicker , brief && fleeting , but the melancholy is there in his eyes . he knows why she says them , but doesn’t offer her a proper inquiry to it . doesn’t even TRY to fight it . 

luciel is tired , deflated . his shithole of a work is terrorizing , stomping down every moment he could have to himself to feel better than feel less like scum of the earth . talking consumes so much energy && suddenly it’s become too hard to talk to the people who he liked to laugh or play tricks  with . life has gotten bleaker ; there is less color , it’s all MUTED && monotone . he’s tired … he wants to sleep && just stay with the stars !! with his unfavorable mood , he’d rather not speak of this , not divulge into this kind of subject – not right now .

he doesn’t vocalize it though , simply cants his head to the side && exhales . in lieu of all the thoughts he wishes he could murmur , he replies to her with a simple statement because an answer is always better than none ( after all , when he was younger , he was never given one ) :

hi, my name is kirby and i’m in trouble. me and my boyfriend live together in an apartment in florida. our rent is around 940$ a month. we’ve been living here since may 1st, and we’ve been doing pretty okay until recently. i lost my job due to my mental illnesses and my boyfriend currently has a full time job, but because of hurricane irma that blew through last week in florida, we had to evacuate and go to south carolina for a week, meaning my boyfriend didn’t work for that entire time. we’re not going to make rent and if we don’t, we will get evicted. i have 300$ in my savings from my last check from my job, and maybe a little more money coming in this friday (im not sure how much). my boyfriend gets paid every two weeks and i know for a fact that this friday and the next next friday, there will be no money.

                  the worry on her face slowly melted, replacing itself with a hopeful smile. “hey… hey. you okay? i almost called for an ambulance…” when he had seemed to black out on the park bench there was no way that the photographer could have left him alone. she had been sitting beside him out of concern and once it had seemed like he a little more lucid leaf took a moment to give him more personal space.

                  that was when she noticed the trickle of blood dripping for his nose, “ah, hang on… one sec, okay?” she had a handkerchief somewhere in her backpack – ah! there it was. “here – take this. i’ll stick around until the blood stops flowing and you think you can stand. is that okay?” even if it wasn’t she was probably going to all the same. she was worried for the stranger.

the inability to monitor && control the times in which he collapses to spiritual possession is a fact he knows well enough . there are warnings before the storm comes , but it’s his choice whether he heeds to them or not . seems it was the incorrect choice of him to PUSH ON , to pretend like the throbbing of his head && the black dots obscuring his vision weren’t there . if only he remained in his hideout instead of venturing into the public world , he wouldn’t have been discovered like this . 

❝ ‘m fine , ❞ except he isn’t . aside from his nose bleeding to whatever profuse amount it chooses to this time ; his muscles are sore , screeching for some kind of relief , meaning the chances of him standing && walking are slim     -- -- -- HELL , even sitting up seemed like an impossible feat . && there was no knowing what this woman saw , makes his mind hurt more than it already is to even THINK of it . ( no one is supposed to see him , hence why he always makes an effort to shut down in his own confinements where no one can witness . ) ❝ THANK YOU , ❞ it’s a little uncomfortable for him to say those words , but it’s necessary .
