Finally solidified my younger Kami design in beastars, featuring Marie here in a training session gone wrong. I’ve headcannoned that they were partners before spirit and it was already sort of turbulent normally, but that’s nothing compared to this au where Kami is much smaller than Marie and Marie does not know her own strength or her own instincts. Her little crush might’ve developed into something slightly more twisted whether she realizes it or not. Kami on the other hand is . Learning things about herself that she’s never going to acknowledge. Kami’s always had a lot of attitude for a small animal, and Marie has never really realized that she is a big cat and people might interact with her differently because of it.
