four    .    bloodlust   is    a   gaping   wound   ,   immortality   like   fingers   digging   into   open   flesh   .   az   is    more    monster   than    woman    ,   basking   in   the   solitude    that   immortality    condemns   .   no   loyalty   hunkers   her   down   ,   so   she   roams   a   rapidly   aging   earth   ,   feeding    with   no   restraint   ,   ripping   open   with   no   mercy   .   

five   .    arizona   ,   it   seemed   ,   was   a   mere   hitch   in    a   long   road   .    what   kept   her    there   was   vague   ;    loyalty   gave   purpose   ,   purpose   gave   bloodshed   meaning   .   to   call    herself    a   saint    in   the   face   of   immortal   damnation   ——   a   joke   really   ,   but   purpose   nonetheless   .

one     .   azul   goes   by    az   —   she   has   a   peeve   about    people   calling   her   azul   .   it’s   too   familiar   ,   too   personal   .   

two   .   devoutly    loyal    to    the   few   she   pledges   loyalty   to   ,   az   will   and   does   actively   protect   with   fierce   loyalty   .   perhaps   ,   in   her   own   way   ,   it’s   to   make   up   for   the   fact    that   she   lost   her   family   because   she   was   too   weak.  

three   .   not   at   all   graceful   ,   as   subtle   as   a   knife   to   the   chest   .   az   has   quite   the   mouth   on   her   ,   often   vulgar   and   unrestrained   .   she’s   notorious   for   talking   back   to   patrons   at   the   bar   ,   and   even   more    so   for   her   unpredictability  .   will   she   flip   you   off    or   will   she   smash   a   bottle   against   your   head   for   calling   her   sweetheart   ?    who   knows   ,   its   a   mixed   bag   .
