One stranger after another--things sure get busy around the mansion as time passes by. The woman greeted the former with a practiced smile, "is there anything you need?"
"...Hello, Cordelia," Beatrix said her name bitterly, "is there anything you need for today? If you are looking for Karl Heinz, he certainly isn't around here for the moment."
[ Well howly dooly, look at that. She had sight of her father once again but… of the opposite gender? Considering the Sakamaki brothers she has met already, she supposed this was of her own father’s female side. Though, she seemed to be different than her own father in a way unknown at the moment… she certainly was prettier though. ]
”..Reiko, ma’am.”
[ And a slight delay, at the hesitance of speaking of the last name. Heaven’s to Betsy it was confusing enough. ]
”..Just Reiko.”
"...Reiko?" Beatrix raised her brows in question. Even her name held a regal manner, similar to how she named her youngest son.
Rather than prodding the girl with further questions, the woman held her tongue and nodded. It would be rude of her to show such suspicions over a stranger after all--which may lead to a bitter after-taste.
"Reiko...My, what a lovely name. Ah, if by any chance... Have you met my son, Reiji Sakamaki? Or--are you here to meet him?"
Another young lady passes by, turning her attention toward the new guest that seemed to have lost her way--or as she assumed. "Good evening," a small smile formed on her rosy lips, "how did you get here, if I may ask?"
"...You look quite familiar. Pardon me if that seemed to be uncalled for...But you hold an uncanny resemblance of my son," Beatrix raised a brow, approaching the young lady that had approached her, folding her arms to observe her further.
"If I may ask, what is your name, child?"
A sudden stranger had caught her in surprise, but that didn't stop her from giving a practiced smile toward the former.
"Hm...? Hello there. Is there anything I could help you with?"
Night Walk
It was an ordinary evening for the man, on the other hand—He had gotten so used to doing absolutely nothing and being alone that it never even seemed to bother him at this point.
Things had gotten turbulent in the mansion once again—another argument with his brothers. They were always so noisy, that Shuu didn’t know what to do with himself. So, he simply detached himself from the situation.
An exasperated sigh left his lips as he stepped down the cobblestones in the front yard. The mansion was magnificent—complete with said yard and the garden nearby, but that didn’t stop Shuu from believing that he did not belong. He figured a nice walk around the land would ease his senses—accompanied with the music that he kept strapped to his neck.
Opening the fence to the garden, it creaked eerily. The blonde kept his gaze onto the floor before he glanced up, catching sight of the figure near the fountain…….
….How long had it been since he had seen her? Was he dreaming? He certainly hoped not….it all seemed too surreal, however…. Blinking once, he curled his fingers into the black metalwork of the gate.
“…Mother?”
Her thoughts kept running and running, worries or her troubles. Her dreadful husband and her sons, what are they doing now? Beatrix her bottom lip while her brows furrowed slightly in irritation.
Most importantly, what is Karl doing?
With a another long sigh, the woman retracted her fingers away from the fountain water and neatly placed her hands together on her lap, closing her eyes to let nature seep relaxation in her troubled mind.
Always a worrywart Beatrix is--she only wanted best for her sons after all.
A sudden sound of the metal gates creaking from the distance broke her train of thought, jumping slightly starting from the shoulders. Her eyes opened in an instinct , blinking once or twice to regain her thought back to the situation.
"Karl Heinz, is that--"
To think it was her husband due to the tall figure she saw from the corner of her eye--only to figure out that it was one of her beloved children. The alarming tone of her voice changed back to normal.
"Ah... It's you, Shuu. What are you doing here?"
His arrival had caused her some relief at least.
Night Walk
Another evening came, with the breeze so mild yet cool to touch; only if she could feel the warmth she once had of course... But none of that would matter anymore, would it? She is a full-pledged vampire, sworn to live under the darkness and sleep when the daylight comes.
Same goes for her unfortunate sons as well.
Speaking of them, how are they? Have they done their daily tasks or eat enough when necessary?
Her glazed eyes looked at the flowers that gently danced along the night breeze. Why would she get so worked up when the garden is there to put her at peace? With a soft sigh, Beatrix made her way by the fountain with her fingers gently gliding across the cold water--leaving small trails as if she is drawing to keep her mind at ease.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
The woman pondered for a bit before she opened her lips to speak. He bland expression didn't seem to have any slight interest within the subject, "a short tour around the garden usually calms me after a heat of a moment."
