My name is Salix or just Sal, my pronouns are they/it/xe and I’m your new go-to for questions about humane Pokemon fusion!

I own several Pokemon, but my team currently consists of Serperior, Simipour, Stoutland, Luxio, and Duskull. I’m a lab assistant at the Unovan-Kantonian Humane Fusion Research Center and Laboratory. Also referred to as UKFL. Our goal is to achieve a new revolutionary state that will provide an advantage and new niche in the competitive field while being completely painless, unlike Mega Evolution.

Considering the tests you mentioned are biological, does anyone in your field have a biopsychological approach for pokemon? I mainly ask because I use pokemon as a therapy tool in my sessions.

one of them, yes. i dont get to talk to her(?) much because she began work at the lab after i began traveling. i think her name is moira? (i cant remember the spelling, my professor told me and the letters they write me are in cursive, so.)

she mainly works with biopsychology w ghost types, psychic types, n dreameaters, but i guess she found our project interesting enough to start studying the possible effects of the kinds of fusion we're going for.

my girlfriend gets extremely physically involved with pokémon battles. baseball slides around the field, running up behind her pokémon to get views from their perspectives, moving along with her pokémon as they attack almost like they have choreography - its super annoying. any clue how to get her to stop?

have you possibly considered go fuck yourself?? id love to finally watch a battle where the trainer isnt just standing there and actually gets involved in the battle.

ooo ok. so when i was like eleven and id just moved to unova my professor gave me a snivy as a gift. he went from being my best bud to being the type of mon that looks like he'd tell dad jokes when he fully evolved despite usually being uptight. i love him :)

Hey! So @realpokemon had a list of other Pokemon ask blogs, and while nothings quite exactly what I'm looking for, this one seemed close-ish? Question: is it OK for Pokemon to raise humans? Specifically a pack of unovan dark types? And is it normal for a human raised by Pokemon to develop nightmare powers?

Okay first of all, wth

Second of all, Pokemon raising humans isn't unheard of by any means, but not by dark types. I'd expect that kind of behavior more so from a grass or water type, dark types don't tend to be open with their "packs" when they do form them. t

Third of all, I'm not a HUMAN biology expert, but you should get that checked out. it's probably some psychological thing happening to ur brain from REALLY overexposed to special-type moves that affect people's brains. i can assure you that you don't have nightmare powers. sorry buddy

i entirely lost the plot while planning a response to a question and ended up on a sidetrack about the most recent common ancestor of the fox pokemon (genus Vulpes). Vulpes are the true foxes, though some other pokemon (like eevee) are colloquially called foxes they aren’t as closely related to these guys. this tree is based on what we know from genetic evidence of the surviving members of the genus!

this little guy is Vulpes cinus, the earliest-known fox pokemon we’ve found, from 8 or so million years ago. it’s only known from skeletal remains and we don’t have enough material to revive it like some other fossil pokemon, so this reconstruction is entirely hypothetical! we do know that it was most likely a fire type based on its bones, though.

prince is the most recent member of my retired battle team! i received him as a gift from a relative and he's been a permanent member since then. :] i'd wanted a clodsire/paldean wooper on my team for a while because ummmmmmmmmm my favorite poke celebrity crush has one (if you know who that is between us okay) and they're very adorable!!!!

he is very chatty!!!! and loves meeting new people. him and cinders are nearly always together unless im doing something that gets cinders' curiosity.

prince's crown is his favorite thing! when he was a wooper i had been crafting little paper crowns and prince had finagled one onto his head. he LOVED it, up until the point it got soggy and ruined. so i custom made him a more durable, and nicer looking little crown. he hasn't parted with it since.
