Lol fml with my ex celebrating her one year with her new gf more than a month before the anniversary of our separation. Wish she didn’t have to do it social media where I eventually get the trickle down. What really gets me about this is the verbal abuse I got from her when her friends found out, and how angry she was with me that I didn't keep it a secret for her.

This time of year is difficult for me, when I reflect back on everything that I went through last year. I’m moving forward with my life but it still is difficult at times, when I think about how my world was just turned upside down. Yesterday would have been our second wedding anniversary. I spent our first alone, crying, while she went camping with a “friend” and promised she’d be home soon and we could work through our problems together. In two days it will be the anniversary of the day we officially split, after I confronted her about her dishonesty.

If I could offer one piece of advice to anyone in a relationship, it’s to be honest with each other when you’re not happy, and when you’re ready call it quits, offer your partner the respect of being the first to know.
