Kare Kano was actually a pretty interesting watch - I started the series to check out how Gainax and Anno were during those days answer: the same. including how the ending was "handled" but the actual plot was pretty nice too. For most of time. Well, I don't watch much shoujo so it might be that as well.  Also, the legendary popsicle stick episode where the screenshot is from.

I don't even read much but I was hooked instantly. If you like mysteries, dorama or books you should definitely give Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou.

After dissing R;N's ending, I guess it's appropriate to praise Shinsekai yori's.

It was nice how they took time to explain everything (fundamental). But it had interesting plot too, so even if someone had predicted the whole thing (I haven't really followed online discussion at all so I don't know, there might have been spoilers around as well?) I imagine the episode would have been enjoyable for them too. It was pretty well shadowed, but not too obvious.

I was surprised when I heard that the budget for this anime wasn't too large, because I think it looked very nice overall. Some 3d background queerats can be forgiven, right? Overall, the series was pretty darn good.

It would be nice if the novels were translated (published in English), someday...I would like to hear even more details about their universe.
