Ink the map
After clearing a low tide wave and there’s still time left, ink the normal area of the map, as no bosses will spawn there.
Drizzlers can be annoying, and can contribute to suffering a team wipe so here are 3 easy ways to deal with them:
Reflect their missile right back at them: If you manage to hit and reflect the missile right back at the Drizzler, it can destroy it in one hit!
While the Drizzler is floating down you can deal damage to it so it’s easier to take it out in one cyle!
Sting Ray. Just, use the Sting Ray
During Wildcard Rotations, if you're loaned a Grizzco Brella or Blaster, consider yourself lucky.
Grizzco Brellas are really strong against Steelheads, Drizzlers and Stingers due to their amazing fire rate. So if you have been loaned the Grizzco Brella help your team by taking those bosses out first, as they can easily cover the map in Salmonid Ink and can kill you without problem.
The Grizzco Blaster is perfect for dealing with Stingers, Drizzlers, Steel Eels and Scrappers. Due to its explosive power, use it to hit Scrappers from behind and destroy Stingers in less than 2 seconds. It fires even faster than a Clash Blaster, but has even less range and damage, so take that into consideration.
Despite being a Brella, the Grizzco Brella offers no protection so don't forget and try to run into a Steelhead's bomb.
Both weapons are excellent during the Rush Event, as their high fire rate can easily destroy the waves of furious Salmonids; however, don't forget that weapons with high fire rates also consume ink really fast, so be careful and don't run out of ink.
Don’t forget you can actually revive a teammate by destroying a Steelhead
Profreshional tips:
1.If things get too intense, use your specials. 2. If everyone except you is splatted, revive them. It doesn’t matter if a Snatcher takes a few eggs, because you can’t win if everyone is splatted. 3. If time is running out, don’t get too stressed, just keep calm, and try to put in the Golden Eggs. 4. If your Special is either the Splashdown or Sting Ray, you’re lucky. Use them efficiently to take out bosses easily, or to revive teammates quickly. 5. During Low Tide, after meeting the quota, you can escape if you want to, so you don’t lose or get splatted. 6. Use long range weapons to take out Stingers and Steelheads safely. 7. Use bombs to revive teammates from a distance.
Inmediatly after you have been given your weapon, if you notice the water changing colors, the next wave will be a Special Wave, so be prepared for anything.
If you want to make Maws come towards you, shoot her while she's jumping out.
If you're feeling a little too angry about constantly losing at Salmon Run, take a break. Play something else. Calm yourself down, then come back.
Rollers are incredibly powerful in Salmon Run.
If the weapon you have been given is a Roller, open the path for your teammates, help by covering the map in ink, and take care of the smaller salmonids.
Know your weapons
Before just jumping into Salmon Run, check what the available weapons are, and make sure you know how to use them properly
If your Grade is higher than Go-Getter, you shouldn't protect Golden Eggs
Instead, focus on taking out Salmonids, and covering turf, as there are enough Boss Salmonids to complete your Quota
Blasters, Brellas, Splatlings and Aerosprays are the most efficient weapons to destroy Stingers.
The Inkjet and Splashdown are also really great for taking out Stingers.
If you're running low on time, and you still haven't met your quota, use your specials.
Don't forget that you have 2 available specials, and if you can use them efficiently, you should be able to win the round.
Everyone, please remember to protect the player who has a Charger.
If things get a little too intense, and you see your teammates have been splatted, use your Special. You can't win if you're dead, and in Salmon Run it's pretty easy to be dead. So, use your Specials, be smart.
Remember to take out Stingers and Flyfish quickly, or else they can be the reason you lose at Salmon Run.
Remember you can reflect back the missiles that Drizzlers shoot at you, avoiding the Ink Storm.
If you position yourself correctly and the projectile is between the Drizzler and you, you can actually reflect the missile directly at that annoying fish, causing it an instant death!
