Breaking my several year harry potter silence just to say that in the Apollo Justice Trilogy, they removed the harry potter reference they originally had in the game. Which means that if you still consume hp content and talk about it, you are doing worse than fucking capcom

Hear me out but Repo! The Genetic Opera may be one of the most accurate dystopias of our generation. Do I actually think there's going to be organ repossession? No. But the more things I see on Looksmaxxing and insane cosmetic surgeries it begins to feel scarily accurate. Extreme procedures of course existed when Repo was being created and likely served as inspiration but I don't know if they could ever predict the commoness of them today.

I think the reason this feels so accurate is because its not a dystopia that relys solely on the horrors of technology getting out of hand but rather beauty standards.

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
