Despite its absurd yet threatening appearance, Telephone is merely an annoyance that is best to be ignored. Floating around bustling city centers or really anywhere with a bunch of people, these little freaks spread chaos through their cognitohazardous noises. Its left mouth constantly chews and deforms a gum-like substance within that appears to be incredibly sticky. Any attempts to touch or otherwise interact with this substance or the left mouth in general leads to the victim being crushed and melted until they have a similar appearance to that of the gum but without any of the supernatural features. This occurs regardless of distance, and the effect is always in sync with the chewing of the mouth. On occasion when someone is affected by Telephone in this way, it blows and pops a bubble, causing the victim to explode and any further effects on the person to cease. The right mouth is constantly grinding its teeth, and though the right mouth has no such substance, it is no less of a threat to the curious observer. When this mouth is touched, the toucher's body deforms and shears to the rhythm of the grinding. On occasion, this mouth gnashes its teeth and the victim completely flattens and the effects cease. Any other physical contact with Telephone causes a condition similar to prosopagnosia, dissolving the person's ability to differentiate between different objects and people. Anyone hearing the noises emitted by Telephone become subject to a similar but weakened effect that decreases the brain's ability to place an identity or concept onto an object or person. This can be succeeded through brute force, though it becomes increasingly more difficult the closer one is to Telephone. Luckily for the people that have to deal with it, the inability to hear the sounds emitted completely nullifies that effect, so as long as you don't mess with it you'll be fine.

This creature was originally based around some kids that are constantly annoying and loud, and a surprising amount of that idea still stuck with the final design! The blanket cloak thing kind of represents a safety blanket that a child might have while also making it seem more like a noble, which you may interperet the big head as relating to the ego of many today. The big head was mainly meant to be reminiscent of a balloon, showing how airheaded this creature is while also making it feel young and floaty. The mouths replacing the eyes constantly making gross sounds but are unable to actually speak fit well with the theme of the game Telephone, where the ability for one to fully understand what someone originally meant is heavily hampered. The loud, highly saturated colors once again represent noise, though they used to be a different color but it didn't really look good so I changed it. The mouths also connect with the disorder known as misophonia, which makes the person's fight or flight reflexes go into effect when hearing certain sounds.

If you're a farmer and your crops seem to always be covered in some kind of blight, you might have a Ring Around The Rosie infestation on your hands! Act fast, as they can multiply incredibly quickly by spreading spores through movement. When these spores land on a piece of plant matter, they start to transform it into a larval form of Ring Around The Rosie. These spores can travel vast distance with the wind, so the best time to hunt and kill them is on a windy day. Even though they have wings, they tend not to fly much and generally resort to hopping about on their singular foot. In events that are forced to fly, it can jump up and catch the wind, repurposing its foot into a makeshift rudder. In the event that there isn't any wind, its proboscis and foot sport spines which can secrete a potent hallucinogen, almost completely nullifying the sense of balance from any would-be attacker. In the event that you are stung or inhale any spores directly after eating any kind of plant matter, seek medical attention immediately as any digested plant matter can lead to a build up of Ring Around The Rosie inside your system. Symptoms may include: shortness of breath, cancerous tissue, strange spots on the skin, stomachaches, severe vertigo, constipation, congestion, paralysis, and death.
