this scene really fucking kills me because for a split second as they fall, im like nine hundred percent sure keith thought they were both going to die so keith closes his eyes and reminisces his past with shiro (life flashing before his eyes kind of thing) when he remember shiro saying “i will never give up on you, but more importantly you cant give up on yourself” leading to this bit

when the black lion saves them both and im pretty sure keith somehow contacted black while shiro was passed out , leading her to their location

anja, i would also like to point out how different this is from the season 4 ending where keith almost died. when he closed his eyes there, he looked scared. he seemed to have accepted it, but still, he was scared:

in these screenshots however, he looked accepting and just barely happy. hes happy that if hes gonna go, hes gonna die with his brother :)
