april days of productivity - day fifteen I guess but I haven’t been updating
lost the plot a bit this past week due to an extended stay at my parents’ place but today more than made up for it! I felt genuinely productive and motivated for the first time in forever. most notably I sent several emails and completed an assignment, both of which I’ve been procrastinating heavily for at least a month now. it feels so good to be freeeeee (of the handful of tasks amidst my many other tasks, but a win is a win).
I also went for a lovely beach walk with my best girl (my dog) which is long overdue. was so distracted that I neglected to take any photos until the end of the walk, but my phone says that it’s a plum tree, so that’s fun!
here’s hoping the beautiful weather and the boundless motivation continue through to the end of the month!

🌷april days of productivity - days three, four, five & six
🐣 this weekend was not necessarily the most productive but it was a holiday weekend and I was at my parents’ farm the whole time, so I’ll give myself a bit of a pass. I did make some decisions re: the next couple months and got a few low-hanging admin tasks done, so I’ll count that as a win.
🐮 It was my grandfather’s 90th birthday party on friday so I spent the day helping to set up for that, and then the past few days I’ve been helping out with some of the farm chores and cuddling all the incredibly cute calves and lambs. the weather has been beautiful so I’ve spent a good deal of my time outside, frolicking around the property. My dog’s test results came back much faster than expected and the lumps she has are benign, so that is a very sweet surprise for the end of the weekend.
🐴 now that the long weekend is over, it’s now time to lock in and get moving since I’m officially leaving the country in two weeks. very much looking forward to a change of scenery, but lots to do in the meantime!

april days of productivity 🌿
days one and two
🐶 had a bit of a weird day today - I slept terribly and had to take my dog to the vet first thing, so I was pretty anxious and tired most of the day and therefore not the most productive. we had the cutest moment with another aussie in the waiting room though - the puppy just wanted to play and my dog was too anxious to engage (she’s just like mommy fr).
💌 day one was a lot better! I got a bunch of work done for my pt job and did some planning for my trip abroad. still a lot of unknowns because I have to wait for other people to respond/make decisions - I hate tasks that include having to wait for other people.
🌾 tonight we’re driving out to my parents’ place for the long weekend so hopefully I can find some time while we’re there to work on a few things. I’d really like to get some movement in so fingers crossed that the weather is nice enough for some river walks!
