Irritated, Buzz seeks out a new target to take out his frustration on.

“Ripp! What do you think you’re doing, lazing about in front of the TV as usual? I saw your report card, your grades are abysmal! And don’t think I didn’t notice you skipped work today. You’d better shape up, and fast, or you won’t even be able to fill up gas for a living.”

There’s no point in trying to explain to the general that the reason Ripp skipped work was because he was up all night trying to catch up on his homework, and improve his grades. He chokes back a sob, and avoids Buzz’s contemptous glare the best he can, but then the sound of Buck crying makes all other thoughts leave his head.

He pushes past Buzz and Tank and into the dining room.

“Hey, Buck… It’s okay. Shh, it’s okay, buddy.”

“I hate it when you guys fight! All of you!”

“I know. It’s okay, I’m here. Let’s get you off to bed, okay?”
