Velvet was born into a military family in Strangerville. She was the only girl among five brothers and was her father's favorite. Her mother was a housewife, and her father worked at a local secret military base. Velvet had a feisty personality and often got into trouble, but she always managed to get out of it. She had no interest in learning and was a mediocre student. In elementary school, she attended a music school where she studied piano, but she had no love for music. In high school, she became one of the popular students, had many friends, and was always the center of attention. As she approached adulthood, she dreamed of growing up quickly, moving to another city, getting married, and buying her own house with a swimming pool.
