Edgeworth AA roleswap AU design breakdown:

His hair is longer in the back and less gelled, representing a softer personality in the inexperienced attorney.

Without an obsession over showing no weakness, his nearsightedness is diagnosed earlier and he gets glasses. Therefore he squints less and his eyes look slightly wider. The light in his eyes is more visible.

He wears a heather grey suit and a red tie, referencing the waistcoat he wears in the canon games, Gregory's suit, and his childhood outfit featured in PW:AA with that color palette. His design intentionally mirrors canon Phoenix's.

His blue coat is canon to Edgeworth's wardrobe, as seen below from AA:JFA 2-3. Slits have been added to the lapels to reference Gregory's iconic tan coat.
