What do you do when faced with the God of the Sea?? You flirt mercilessly
The good plot twists aren't the ones that are wild left turns out of nowhere, they're the ones that make all the other little things that didn't quite add up before suddenly click
Obligatory redraw of Live Telemachus Reaction
I wonder if even after Odysseus returns, Telemachus still wakes up in a cold sweat some nights and goes to pace in front of his mother’s door. There’s light and loud talking and laughing and Telemachus grips his sword tightly, tense as he knows he can’t let anyone near.
The door opens and Telemachus jolts, turning to see a man standing in the doorway behind him. He lunges forward, but the man grabs his wrist and shoulder, disarming him and bringing him to the ground. He closes his eyes, bracing himself and feeling a burn in his throat. He failed. He can’t protect her. He-
Suddenly there are gentle hands on his face. A soothing voice replacing the cacophony that the prince realizes had never existed. He looks into his father’s eyes with shame, blinking back tears as the king gently takes him into his arms. Odysseus promises his son that he’s safe, brings him back to rest beside him and Penelope, and lets him have just a few hours of peace before it happens again.
Just thoughts.
Hermes playing peakaboo with baby Telemachus
Ithaca saga completely changed my brain chemistry.
Buying you time
Men use “I’m just a man” to cheat on their wives. Odysseus uses “I’m just a man” to kill, slay and torture people to get back to HIS wife. They are not the same.
I got lazy sorry
Bad Hermes u scare Odysseus /jk

Hades: sigh What will I do with you?
Telemachus of Ithaca, with his father's cleverness and determination, his strength, his silver tongue.
Telemachus of Ithaca, with his mother's eyes and smile, her kindness, her beauty, her bravery.
Telemachus of Ithaca, with his mentor's intelligence, her skillfulness, her adaptability.
Telemachus of Ithaca, a portrait of everyone around him, a brightness that cannot be dimmed.
“You made it,Captain.”
well
Jorge did an excellent job in showing Penelope's character and why Odysseus and Penelope are made for each other in two songs
Of course throughout the whole saga we are told Odysseus loves Penelope more than anything, she and Telemachus are his one life line and one motivation to getting home
But when we finally heard Penelope, in her two actual songs (by that I mean not counting Ody's hallucinations and the siren), we are shown why
In the challenge, she's smart, shown by her weaving and unweaving the shroud, and in setting a challenge that she knows only Odysseus can complete once she suspects he's close to home. She's steadfast in her love, never faltering in the face of 108 strong men taunting her, and pressuring her every single day. She's a queen, holding herself with dignity and authority. She's an amazing woman.
In Would You Fall In Love With Me Again, she once again demonstrates her intellect both logically and emotionally by testing Odysseus with the wedding bed. Then she breaks down in tears and anger letting go of all the pain and suffering and longing and yearning and agony she's gone through in the past 20 years. She was in so much pain and agony, but she kept waiting.
This is a story about a man who moved mountains and seas for his love and a woman who stood still in the midst of storms and terrors for hers.
