‘Great.’ He says flatly, but his features don’t hold the usual harsh glare giving away he’s not entirely annoyed by the idea. He was growing more pissed off by the second and the cop was known for having a short temper. Seeing Sam cross her arms back he rolls his eyes. ‘In what way is this doing me a favour?’ Well it’s already obvious, the acid hot anger burning through him moments before has started to simmer down somewhat.
‘Yeah, well you haven’t seen the drunk dead cheerleaders. Even me telling them to fuck off didn’t work.’
“One, I’m cheering you up, and keeping you from getting too grumpy and potentially killing somebody--not a good idea for a cop, by the way. Two, well of course they’re not going to leave you alone when you are clearly standing here alone. It’s like a challenge, Lee. Not for me, but for them. Trust me, they won’t bother you now. And if they do, well then I get to be the scary one,” Samantha grinned wolfishly.
