Today's the day!

We finally have an excuse to act like the happy loving people that we all pretend not to be. Take out your heart-confetti cannons, blow up some red balloons, and indulge in all the chocolate and snacks that you want! Find someone special and wrap your arms around them and let them know that you care! Tell your parents, your friends, your sig others that you love them. I hope everyone has an amazing day worth cheering about!

Not normally? I did kinda bomb my latest English assignment, though. Not sure if it was bad luck or just a bad assignment. Why, do you? Am I totally cursed for the rest of the weekend, Sam? Because that would definitely suck.

You can say that again. I mostly cheered when everyone cheered that day. Well this is the first time I have friends to sit on the stands and enjoy the game. Before my only friends were my books.

Managed to almost bust my nose opening my locker today, then the girl next to mine was all ‘Happy Friday the Thirteenth!’ in like, the cheeriest tone ever, and handed me a rabbit’s foot. I’m not sure if I should have been thankful or weirded out, but I kinda just stared before heading to class.

Well not really. I really don’t understand the game and I kind of scared of footballers. The ones from my old school weren’t that nice.

Yeah, that's fair. The rules of football are a bit more complicated than most sports. And the scoring system is totally wacky. But it's fun being a fan. Like....watching baseball is the most boring thing ever, but sitting in the stands with your friends and eating hotdogs is kind of the best.

Are you not a big football fan? I don't usually like...go to the games because I'm in them. But I like going to the basketball games. It's kind of fun being in a crowd all rooting for the same thing.

Yeah I think I can get that. Do you wish you had a sibling closer to your age? Anyway, if they’re as cute as you, they’ll all be heartbreakers by the time they hit high school.

Dude is everything OK? That guy shouldn’t have tackled you that hard. The look on his face when we won was freaking priceless though. I think I got a picture of it on my phone that I’m so showing you. WE FREAKING DID IT!!!

I'm fine, I'm fine. And the hit wasn't that hard, it just came at the wrong angle or something. I'm glad we came back and won it though. State Champions, baby!

Details like that don’t matter most of the time. It’s the actually meeting up part that matters. As long as you don’t try to convert me into some kind of major American sports fan. So, no hooking up during Monday Night Football, or something. And no, I don’t think so.
