Thank you!! I enrolled not too long ago, but I was scared to tell anyone in case a payment fell through or something happened…but it’s all kinda final now. Is it bad that I’m really sorta proud of myself? Is that selfish?
I think I’d be good at it, too. After doing more research, I think I wanna go into educational counseling. Like at schools, you know?
Of course not, Ry! You should be proud of yourself. I'm amazed that I've made it this far through college myself. It's not easy and I'm super proud of you for taking it on.

I’m signed up to take classes at Borough of Manhattan Community College in the fall to at least get my gen eds. I’m basically starting from scratch, since most of my credit hours can’t transfer, but it’s something. :)
I’ve also been thinking a lot about counseling. Like, studying to be one. Thoughts?

Oh, of course! I just meant that you can certainly explore what you want to do even while you’re still in school to study it. Real-world experience is incredibly important, which is why I keep going on auditions even though I haven’t graduated NYADA yet. Then you’ll be ahead of the game when you do finish school!

That’s something I understand all too well, too. Before streamlining my schedule at the diner — which I really needed to do, to make sure I didn’t wind up with shifts that interfered with rehearsals and performances! — there were some nights I got stuck working the graveyard shift. Let me tell you, that’s an adventure.
I suppose that's true, Miss, yes. I definitely want to look into some open mic nights soon. I'm just hoping they hire someone new at the comic shop soon so we don't have to work so many hours.
Oh, just getting some takeout and eating at his place. Probably a movie or something. Just some time to relax.
Gosh, I can't even imagine. I really don't like being out in the city alone after dark, even after living here for a year. I know it's necessary sometimes, but I avoid it when I can.
You are clearly a natural, and it shows. Ever thought about going into modeling? A lot of performers do modeling on the side, from what I understand.
I don't know, sir. I'm kind of concentrated on what I'm doing now. And work takes up a lot of the rest of my time.
