The Book Worm & The Shrub Golem - Ghoul of the Month - June 2026

Ghouls love comics too! As much as I love stormy weather, I’m manifesting perfect picnic weather so I can go out and read my comics in the sun.

This maybe the first time I’ve created a new ghoul within a ghoul illustration let alone a whole new comic book idea 😝. Can you also spot a familiar ghoul from 2024?

Scrat - Week 4 and my final offering for the #AprilGhouls2026 art ritual. It’s been so fun creating new creatures and stories. I found the prompts quite challenging this time round but I’m pretty pleased with the ideas I came up with. Scrat is a little inspired by a couple of furry goobers in the family.

Beloved by all though there is only one who may pass the threshold of Scrat’s kingdom and forever will he remain loyal to them.

Myco Armour - A slightly belated week 3 offering for #AprilGhouls2026 based on the prompts Fungus and Rusty.

Rusty armour riddled with fungus awaits patiently for a worthy living organism to take over and battle once more.

I’ve been wanting to create my own take on "Living Armour" so this was the perfect opportunity to do so.

I’m taking The Crafter on a journey with this one. I had a lot of fun incorporating little different things that often appear in my own anxiety dreams. I also really love my Dream Cyclops design.
