Something I don't understand about the discourse over the brothers is about how much of it comes from minimizing their relationship to the most basic level. Taking their treatment of each other from one season or a certain character arc and defining their ENTIRE relationship based on one or two arcs. Dean was a shitty brother at times, Sam was a shitty brother at times. At the end of the day they would do anything for each other, yk the entire repeating cycle of the 15 SEASON show. Honestly why I don't get the ppl who say sam didn't love dean as much as dean loved sam. Or how dean was only ever awful to sam. Their relationship is complex and messy for a reason.
