To be honest, that's all I see her as (of course I can use any pronouns for her if necessary but like idk i prefer she her or they them for her) and it makes me happy im not alone! this is such old shit but please give me a source on shou being a trans woman and maybe ill take this with a grain of salt but im literally trans and hc hitoshi as a trans woman because the surgery thing. most trans characters in japan are treated as men in dresses/feminine clothing without any respect and played as a funny thing. so i chose to hc a nicer way of looking at it. its so jarring that you would make a claim like me seeing trans women as “effeminate men” when i myself am trans and am surrounded by effeminate men/nb people who i don’t associate with womanhood at all. stop trying to reach so far the only one trying to be woke is you by throwing around “transmisogyny” acting like people dont fetishize ‘cross dressing’ characters for their cis ~yaoi~ bullshit

(okay and another thing- the show literally shows the cast reacting to a self identified man (ruka) being effeminate and ‘cross dressing’ - in a weird and played for laughs way. this isnt the case with hitoshi and characters assume hitoshi is a woman unless told otherwise with no fight from hitoshi so i mean. like.

lol every time i think abt this shit i just shake my head. yall so ignorant to think that any kind of anime culture would be respectful to trans characters. most of the time that there is trans representation in anime its either a gag meant to be laughed at, or completely cut out in the translation. “crossdressing boy” characters are an anime stereotype meant to be comic relief and are never treated as a positive character in the show for not following the gender binary and expectations. you may interpret it that way but thats really just not how it is or how it was made to be. anime “ tr*p “ culture makes me fucking sick and the fact that ppl cling to the purposefully mocking stereotype in anime and refuse to let people headcanon the characters as trans girls bcus their interpretation of the character as a boundary crossing character makes them feel high and mighty is so tiring. hcing a character as a boy who is feminine doesnt make you more right and better socially than someone else. just saying!
