neil randomly saying he never had a plush animal to the foxes and the next day he gets to the dorm from his morning run and his bed being full of plushies, ( andrew hates them because neil sleeps hugging them but secretly he will be stealing some of them ) and in the first day neil already had a name for each of them.

Today, in the year 2026, it comes to my mind that a 40-year-old Andrew and a 38-year-old Neil are retired, sitting in their house with their cats, probably watching some documentary about crime and both criticising their loopholes and inaccuracies. And that? That actually made me tear up a bit because both of them didn’t expect to pass the 25-year-old milestone, and now? They are in the US living their best lives

Where neil is just like any other teenager. He loves movies and books. He's never seen without his headphones or out of his room, and the only language he knows is sarcasm.

Or what happens when Andrew the school’s bad boy falls head over heals for the new kid.

Neil doesn’t really get the point of valentines day. Why does everyone need a specific day to shower their partner in affection? It doesn’t make sense to Neil, but when he’s at the store on February 15th, he understands.

The point is really for there to be a day for people to be stupid and gooey, and then a day for normal people to buy half off chocolate. 

Neil doesn’t hesitate to pick out all of the best chocolates, nearly filling his cart to the brim, and quickly grabs the other things he was sent to pick up. 

The cashier gives him an odd look for buying over a hundred dollars in just chocolates, but Neil is too busy imagining how much Andrew will enjoy it to care. That and the look on Kevin’s face when he sees all of the candy. 

His drive home is mercifully quick, and Neil makes sure to be quiet entering the dorm, so as not to alert Andrew to his presence. He is sitting in the same spot as when Neil left, idly watching some TV show. Neil walks quietly around the couch and quickly dumps the bags of chocolate out on Andrew. 

Andrew looks down at the candy in bewilderment for a moment, then up at Neil, then back down. 

“Happy Half-Off Candy Day,” Neil exclaims, a grin overtaking his face.

Off to the side, Neil hears someone drop something, probably Nicky.

Andrew is silent for a few more seconds before looking up at Neil with fire in his eyes. “Yes or no?” He asks.

Neil flushes a bit, but replies with a soft yes. 

Andrew stands fast as lightning, candy going everywhere, and grabs Neil’s face, pulling their lips together roughly. His hands quickly migrate south, grabbing at Neil’s waist and arms. 

“Shoulders and up,” Andrew murmurs against his lips, nudging Neil slightly. “Bedroom?”

“Yes,” Neil gasps, fingers quickly tangling into Andrew’s hair. Andrew reaches down, grabbing Neil by the thighs and hauling him up, before walking them to the bedroom and slamming the door shut. 

The living room is deadly silent for a moment.

“I’ll never unsee that,” Nicky says faintly, and Kevin nods, both blinking in surprise.

Neil awoke to the door opening. Beneath him he felt Andrew stiffen but neither one moved, listening closely to the others as they stumbled into the room.

"Oh my god..." Nicky whispered from somewhere near their feet.

"Nicky, shut up," Aaron hissed, scoffing when he noticed what Nicky was looking at, moving away from the couch.

"Do you see what they're doing?"

"They always do that," Kevin replied, voice muffled as he headed into their room. "It's gross in a sickenly sweet sort of way."

Aaron grunted in agreement.

"What!?" Nicky exclaimed, and Neil could almost hear Andrew roll his eyes. What did they expect? Yeah, they weren't the most affectionate couple, but they did do things like hold hands and cuddle.

Usually only Kevin ever saw them, but it was only a matter of time before the others caught them.

"I swear to god if you wake them up..." Aaron warned from near the kitchenette.

"He already said we could borrow his car, Aaron," Kevin said, huffing in frustration when he couldn't find what he was looking for, and Neil held back a snicker. "Calm down."

"Yeah, but he might have changed his mind. His moods shift worse than Katelyn's on her period."

"Nice, Aaron."

"What?"

Neil heard the snapping of a picture being taken and he curled his hand around Andrew's neck, keeping him from jumping up and breaking Nicky's phone.

"Are you taking a photo?" Aaron asked, exasperated.

"I need the proof!" Nicky exclaimed, snapping one more photo before putting his phone away.

"Nicky..."

"I found his keys, let's go." Kevin's voice was louder when he returned to the front room, keys jingling as he led the others towards the exit.

The door closed behind them and Neil groggily asked, "Did you tell them the Maserati needed gas?"

Andrew sniffed, curling his arm tighter around Neil, and said, "They'll find out soon."
