Samuel thinks he's edgy. His left ear is pierced, and so is his tongue.

Gabe walked over to his desk to grab a folder of paperwork. “Goodbye, Samuel.”
"Until next time, Gabriel." He then led his friends out of the station, knowing the way all too well. Once he was out in the morning air, he herded his friends to their bar, where he would divulge the beginnings of his plans.
~The End~

Gabe tossed him a small bottle. “Here, it’s aspirin. It will help the headache. And Sam, please try to sober up.” He had a somber look in his eye. “I hate having to take you here so often just because of silly things. Why don’t you try something fun for once? Rumor on the street is there is going to be a town ball. Sober up and go to it, maybe you will find you a lady there.”
Samuel caught the bottle. He had plenty of these bottles at home. The good thing about Samuel, he never got headaches after a night of drinking. It was gift he was quite proud of. He almost growled when Gabriel called him Sam, a nickname he hated with a passion thanks to his elder brother.
"I was having fun, until you came along," he said, his temper beginning to boil. However, at the mention of a town ball, Samuel grinned. "A town ball? Hosted by the mayor, I assume. Sounds like a big deal. Perhaps I will go."

Gabe turned and walked away finishing up the rest of the shift.
The next day he came back to work and unlocked the cell. “Morning Samuel, how are you feeling?”
Samuel had had plenty of time to sit, and think. Not about his actions, but the many ways he could exact his revenge on Gabriel. Many ways passed through his mind. He did not sleep at all during the night, and as the sun came up, he watched it out the small barred window in his cell.
When Gabriel came in and unlocked the cell, the door opened a tiny bit. Samuel went over, and pushed against it, standing in the entrance with his hand resting on the door. "Marvelous, Officer. Just marvelous."

Gabe rolled his eyes. “You are fully aware of the quiet town we live in. Now like I said, you will be here for the night so you will be released sober in the morning. Goodnight Samuel.”
Samuel wrapped his scrawny hands around the bars of the cell, and pretended like they were Officer Houston's neck. "Until next time, Gabriel." His words came out menacingly.

"I know, but she refused to leave." Gabe sighed. "Trust me, I hate being the bad guy but I have to do everything to make sure she is happy." They arrived to the station and Gabe brought the four in.
Samuel gave a quick, sharp "Ha!" at Gabriel's words. "You are far from being the bad guy. In fact, you're so much a good guy, you made an unbelievably stupid promise."
He quieted down as he and his friends were brought into the station. He eyed the on duty cops. It seemed there were only a few criminals in the jail cells. "What a joke."

Gabe rolled his eyes. “If you saw it my way, you would think otherwise. How would you feel if you were being ganged up on? Attacked right? Well I promised my fiancé I wouldn’t come home broken again. We are just holding you over night, so you can sober up.”
"Ganged up on," he mumbled under his breath, "what a promise to make someone, when you're in your line of duty. Don't make me laugh."

"Yeah whatever." Gabe rolled his eyes before quickly turning, kicking Samuel in the balls as hard as he could. He then raced to his pepper spray in his belt before spraying his friends in the eyes. They immediately went down, Gabe handcuffed Samuel then grabbed his friends and throwing them into his car. "You really should learn to shut up."
Samual grimaced as he bent over in pain, while his friends groaned out in protest against being pepper sprayed. It was uncomfortable for the four of them to be in the back seat of one police cruiser. "I should sue you for battery without cause," he growled out.

Gabe looked at the man’s friends then laughed. “You know good and well that I don’t need any friends.”
Samuel laughed. Gabriel was cocky, which never worked out well. "You might want to try having a few," he said in a very matter-of-fact tone, "they're very helpful."

"Yes I am."
Samuel laughed darkly. "My dear naive Gabriel. Why must you always ruin my fun with such seriousness?" he asked rhetorically. Just then, an echoing laughter bounced through the nearby alleyway. Three less than sane individuals appeared. One was a woman, who seemed to be the most dangerous with highly intellectual eyes glaring that the officer. The other two were brothers. The first was brawny, with a mean stare. The second, lanky, but completely insane. Samuel looked behind him at his friends, and smirked. "It seems I have friends tonight," he then looked around dramatically, "where are yours?"

Samuel crossed his arms over his chest, and gave Gabriel a slight glare. “I’m not going anywhere, tonight officer.” Samuel didn’t like to make things easy for anyone, least of all the cops.
"Oh yes you are Mr. Rivera. You have caused too much trouble tonight for the citizens so you need to either keep it down or come with me."
"Really? Are you going to take me in yourself?"

"Samuel. Come with me. I have got to get you off the streets."

"Me? Disturbing…disturbing the peace? I would never," he whispered harshly. "C’mon, Gabriel, you and I are friends..aren’t we?"
Gabe rolled his eyes. “Samuel you are fully aware of our relationship. I’m not going to let you off the hook anymore. You need to sober up.”
Samuel brought his hand up to his forehead, in a salute. "Aye, aye, captain!" he shouted rather loudly.

"Oh I’m sure you did, Samuel." Gabe stated. "You’re disturbing the public again. Do I need to take you to jail until you sober up? Or you need to get home and keep to yourself. I can’t keep wiping this away. You need to stop."
