Top Erejean/Jeanere fics you recommend? :)

There’s so many good ones out there, like it’s actually unbelievable how many amazing works that have been written with these two major dickheads.

I encourage you to check with the tags and author’s notes to be sure you’re comfortable with the theme. Most of these will probably contain nsfw content at different levels, but I promise you, every single one of these fics took me completely aback. Most of them made me read it all in one go, they made me laugh and really enjoy reading them. The one, consistent trait, they share, is that I’ve read them more than once and I’ve never really forgotten any of them.

None of them are listed in any particular order because I honestly can’t choose between them.

(1) Candid (One-shot)

This is one of my absolute favorites. The language is so strong and beautiful. It’s laced with humor and the portrayal of the characters - the blowjob - is on point.

Author’s summary: Jean is a pretentious Instagram photographer who Eren loves to mock, but being the subject of Jean’s art has him rethinking things.

(2) Breathe in. Breathe out. (One-shot)

The language in this one, the word-play, hell the entirety of this work is enough to make the cut. It’s one of those fics where you won’t really understand what happened after you finish it. It needs to sink in for a few hours. Then it dawns upon you. It’s really good.

Author’s summary: Jean indulges in a post-coital cigarette and Eren shares it.

(3) Nothing Alike (One-shot)

Who doesn’t love a nice make-out session? Especially if one is dressed as the other and with tons of swearing?

Author’s summary: Jean and Eren make out while Jean is dressed as Eren.

(4) To The Ocean (One-shot)

Do you need to cry? Would you like to cry? You won’t get through this without. It’s heartbreaking and fucking sad in so many ways. But as horrible as it is, it’s also really well-written and tragically beautiful.

The author’s summary is a bit long, but here’s a hint: Jean carries Eren towards the ocean, but Eren doesn’t have much time left.

(5) kissing the lipless (One-shot)

Lipless, what? Yeah. This is not a fanfic that’s driven by dialogue. This is driven by the author’s abilty to create a story that contains so little action and yet leaves you out of breath and wanting more. I loved the idea of it and it just really deserves a lot of love.

Author’s summary: Jean keeps Eren company through the tedious process of regrowing his limbs.

(6) you got a black heart (Long one-shot)

This is so, so creative, funny and incredibly sweet! Meet the idiots who are filled to the brim with tension as they work at a horror park. I also love coming back to this because it is worth it every time.

Author’s summary: Eren is a performer at the Shiganshina Horror Park. Jean is the strung-out costume/makeup artist who hates him. Maybe. Eren’s a little unsure about that last part.

(7) Good morning, asshole (Long one-shot)

This is one of the best au fanfics I’ve ever read. Eren and Jean. Fighting. Arguing. Hating each other. But through a screen? WIth a tumblr? It’s incredibly funny, heart-warming (especially the sequel) and made me bubble with joy every time I read this.

Author’s summary: Internet personalities Eren Yeager and Jean Kirschtein meet, clash, hate each other, become friends, and fall in love. Fun times are had by all.

(8) on repeat (Multi-chaptered + complete)

Levi owns a pizzaria. This is one of those build-up fics that makes you so addicted. They hate each other, but there’s always this pull between them, right? You’ll love this one.

Author’s summary: Eren and Jean are angry pizza delivery boys. They fall in love.

(9) Jean’s Little Problem (Multi-chaptered + complete)

This was recommended to me by Claudia not long ago and honestly this had me hooked from the first chapter. To be fair, it’s not one I would’ve found myself, but I haven’t been able to really let it go yet. It’s sweet, fluffy, adorable, and humored me all the way through. Who would’ve thought tiny child Eren and Jean could bring such a tightness in your chest? It deserves so much attention, so please give it a go.

Author’s summary: Jean doesn’t understand why mini Jaeger is so obsessed with him.

(10) Traffic colors (Multi-chaptered + incomplete)

Very, very nsfw. But very, very good and with some of the best sex-scenes I’ve ever read. I know the author of this fic did a lot of research for this one and it’s very clear when you read it. It’s so good and despite the heavy amount of smut, you still get the idea of a plot going on.

Author’s summary: Jean and Eren start a D/S relationship after being matched up by a mutual friend in the community. However, the line between their friendship and their arrangement begins to blur, rules are broken, and hearts are bound together.

I hope this was okay for you. It’s my top 10 more or less (smut erejean fics are something completely different though ;-) ). Thank you for asking really <3. I’m flattered someone would turn to me for erejean recommendations.

What if Lance unknowingly says or does something that basically has a really enticing meaning (to the galra, at least). And at first just a few galran soldiers start getting these crazy ideas related to the “surprisingly hot” Blue Paladdin.

Like, suddenly there are a few soldiers saying stuff like “Don’t you think the Blue Paladdin’s hair looks soft?” “Yeah dude, I really wanna tug on that hair. Feel it once at least!”, or “Zarkon’s balls, he has eyes of the strangest color! I’ve never seen blue eyes before!” and a friend goes like “get it together, Akatei, you’re infatuated with the enemy!!” “He might be the enemy, but he’s still my type!”

but then Lance keeps doing the thing (while remaining oblivious, of course) and more and more of the soldiers slowly start losing their shit over it because oh for Lotor’s white locks, the Blue Paladdin is Fine, until it escalates and suddenly Lance has a fanclub? all its members are galran?

and OF COURSE when the Blade gets intel on this and the reason it all started, they all go like…. “This is useful, but also… yes, same. Same, totally” and now they try to hang out with Lance more? Voltron team is #confused?

What is going on, Kolivan why are you staring at Lance, ohmygod did that galra soldier just blush after Lance’s helmet broke and he had to take it off? What

Picture Lance taking off his helmet and he’s sweaty and gross, and fustrated.

But with Galran Vision™ they see Lance with a flushed face and a healthy glow. And what they seem to think are bedroom eyes.

It slowly escalates until the members of the Blade feel like they have to help protect Lance! So imagine Kolivan or some other member helping him train and teaching him not only self-defense but hand to hand combat!

What surprises everybody is that Lance fights dirty. He sees a weakness? He will 100% use it against you without thinking twice. He’s not above pulling hair, or if clothes are too loose-fitting he’ll tug on them and somehow manage to tie your arms with them.

And when he starts showing his new moves during battles? God, Lance’s popularity is so big he’s by now almost a Space Idol! Haggar tells Zarkon “your souldiers want to bed the Blue Paladdin” and Zarkon just replies with “I don’t care! I want the Black Lion!”, and when Zarkon goes down she tells the same to Lotor and Lotor’s just like “well, duh. I’ll bed him first for sure!”

Some alien starts an underground ring of Lance merchandise, little pins and key chains. If you’re a really big fan you have the Lance poster. There is one in his paladin uniform and there is a really edited one with Lance in Galra concubine dress. (Thats the most popular).

Somehow the team stumbles across this stuff and looses their minds.

Could you just imagine Keith losing his shit when he sees Galra soldiers/Lotor swooning over Lance. The first time he just stares at them sputtering and the times after that he gets angry but then he starts to get protective and it turns into he’s Lances body guard. “Keep your grubby Galra hands off!” And lance is so confused like “why are all these Galra’s swooning over me omfg if that a pOSTER OF ME IN A SLUTTY LOOKING DRESS WTF” I feel like lance would be shook™ And like imagine them running into Prince Lotor and he’s just like “Ah yes, blue paladin, I have heard much about you~” And the whole team is just shook™ and allura and Coran are over the coms like “what the f u c k”

Shiro had always been interested in hands. The way they moved, the length and width of fingers. Fingers that would bend and flex to help tell stories, wrap around door handles, hold hands.

It wasn’t a sexual thing, not really. At least, that’s what Shiro liked to tell himself. The first time a boy ever held his hand, his heart beat fast as he felt the heaviness of their palms pushed together. When he lost his virginity, for days after he thought of strong hands that pressed hot indentations into his stomach, back, and arms.

More recently, Shiro started taking an interest in thin hands, with long, lithe fingers. Truthfully, it was the man attached to the hands that he was finding himself attracted to. But the more time they spent together on the same ship, the more he noticed that the other man used his hands to talk.

No matter what the subject, whether he was dejected or joyful, his hands moved like an interpretive dance. Supplementing the melody of sentences flowing out of his mouth.

This particular moment, Shiro found himself watching as the blue paladin’s hands curled and twitched, as if in slow motion. The words being spoken muddled in his mind, and Shiro found himself secretly wishing for those hands to touch him, and feel them grip along his arms, his chest, his-

“-ight, Shiro?”

Oh god, he wasn’t listening. The rest of the team was staring at him now, all the while he’d been staring at those hands. Watching as Lance animatedly spoke about whatever it was that was making him excited. Daydreaming about the veins shifting beneath skin with each movement, instead of focusing on the words coming out of their owner’s mouth.

“Sorry, what was the question?” Shiro asked, embarrassed that he’d been caught not paying attention to their debrief.

“I was saying how we really crushed those Galra under our fist today!” Lance repeated, bringing his own fist down into his palm in a swift hand gesture to match his words. “But, we’re gonna have to train even harder for the next battle since they know our strategy now.”

He mimed blasting away the Galran fighter jets the way Voltron had earlier that day. His hands held an invisible gun that cocked and blew back with each pretend shot. Despite their appearance, Lance’s fingers contained immense strength and dexterity, proven by the nickname he’d given himself — “Sharpshooter.” Shiro could imagine those fingers wrapped around the underhammer and the grip of a gun. He nearly allowed himself to imagine those fingers wrapped around something else, but he snapped out of it once Lance spoke again.

“Right?” The blue paladin’s eyes flicked up to Shiro’s, face beaming with pride and excitement.

“Absolutely,” Shiro affirmed, swallowing the butterflies that threatened to escape from his stomach through his mouth.

“I actually already thought of a new plan to help us the next time we get swarmed!” Lance continued.

A slightly crumpled piece of paper was then pulled from his jacket pocket and unfolded onto the couch between the two

of them. He smoothed out the paper with his fingers spread wide across it to flatten the wrinkles. The dents of his knuckles deepened as his hand swiped against the cool leather.

Shiro nearly choked as his mouth involuntarily watered. Did Lance know that he was torturing the older man? Taunting him with Shiro’s barely concealed kink that he really needed to get a better hold of?

“So,” Lance began, pointing a finger to a crudely drawn diagram of Voltron, “our current artillery doesn’t have the range to take on multiple enemies coming from every angle-”

“Are you feeling okay, Shiro? Your face is red.” Pidge’s voice rang out, interrupting the blue paladin mid-sentence.

The world stopped as the focus shifted back over to Shiro, who, at this point, felt entirely too hot. He was mortified and he could feel the crimson in his face deepen upon being called out. But before he could fabricate an answer, Lance was raising an arm towards him, and he pressed his palm against Shiro’s forehead to feel his temperature, which was surely rising to an all time high.

“You’re burning up! I hope you’re not getting sick!” Lance said.

Cold fingers against Shiro’s forehead helped with the growing heat inside him, but it didn’t help the beating of his heart, echoing loudly in his ears as its tempo increased. Lance was touching him — something he’d only dreamt of — but that dream excluded the rest of the team watching as he died of humiliation. He cleared his throat and pulled back, allowing the very thing he’d craved to fall away from him.

“I’m alright. Just tired,” Shiro responded once he’d regained his composure. “Let’s get to bed, everyone. Lance is right. We’ve got an early start tomorrow.”

As he stood to leave, he tactfully avoided eye contact from the rest of the group. The younger paladins grumbled, but followed suit, knowing their leader would work them extra hard in the morning.

Shiro was nearly out the door when a hand touched his shoulder. A bolt of lightning sparked down his back as he realized immediately who was touching him.

“Shiro, wait!”

The black paladin turned to face Lance, but not before sneaking a glance to those fingers that were hastily removed in what Shiro guessed was embarrassment for lingering slightly too long. Little did the blue paladin know that Shiro would have allowed him to keep his hand there forever if he wanted.

“Yes, Lance?” he said, trying to keep his voice level.

“I know you said we need to get to bed, but I thought you might want to look this over.” Lance held out the re-folded piece of paper containing his strategic scribblings.

“Oh. Yes, thank you.”

As Shiro reached to grab the paper, he couldn’t help but notice how his own hand was so much bigger than Lance’s. That his fingers alone could engulf the brunet’s entire appendage. The realization immediately brought his face back to a scorching temperature. And if the younger man’s widening eyes didn’t tell Shiro that his secret was out, the way Lance’s voice shook as their skin connected definitely did.

“Um, anytime,” Lance stuttered. His own face was now turning a bright shade of pink. Their hands were still touching; neither of them had pulled away yet, and by the time they both eventually did, their faces were equally doused in red. “S- Sorry!”

“No, I’m- It’s… See you in the morning,” Shiro willed his mouth into coherence, trying to get out of there with what little dignity he still had.

“See you then!” Lance blurted, then turned on his heel and scurried down the hallway.

Shiro sighed, both in relief and in an effort to calm his fluttering heart. He felt like a child again, holding the hand of the very first boy he loved. As much as he could, he tried not to think about how soft Lance’s skin was, what kind of lotion he must use, and what it would feel like to actually hold his hand. But since it was bedtime, he allowed the blush to make a home on his cheeks as he walked down the deserted hallway to his room. Besides, if there was one thing he knew about Lance, it was that he was worse at disguising a crush than Shiro himself.

Plus, he was fairly certain he’d get an answer to his musings soon.
