Am I allowed to call out the change to Jared Kleinman? Initially I was hesitant because "I should feel grateful another Asian has gotten an important role in a film," but then I realized... that role is the nerdy side character that Asians have always gotten. Something about it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think it's mainly due to the fact that his name changed. Changing Kleinman to Kalwani was completely unnecessary. As a PoC with a very white-sounding name, I'm here to say we exist!

The three stars are leaving the Test Kitchen amid months of turmoil, and their departure leaves the future of the famed video channel in question.

“I think they’re very risk-averse,” El-Waylly told Business Insider. “I think that more people of color are going to be more visible in food media. That’s more of a progressive thought, but Condé is a bit conservative and risk-averse. Maybe they’ll do it in five years after someone else makes it cool.”

catcher in the rye made me feel things I’ve never felt when reading a book before. please read it if you haven’t, it’s a beautiful representation of attempting to survive with depression and loneliness while being surrounded by living people. I read it during a really low time in my life and I shed tears at the ending. beautiful 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

It's a downright shame that I said some stupid misinterpretation about a Hozier song in the 7th grade to my friends and can no longer listen to his music without associating it with said dreadful memory, thus dying in embarrassment :)
