Impossible Bottle Chronicle

A beautiful example of remarkable craftsmanship, impossible bottles have fascinated me since I was a little girl. These delicate bottles evoke magic and trickery simply because within them, lies another object. In my case, its a tiny ship with the tiniest yellow sails rocking on a calm blue sea. I discovered this precious piece of glass while hunting for bathroom slippers to replace my dilapidated pink ones at Sunday Bazaar. (Forgot to look for the cookie monster socks I saw on my last trip. Dammit!) Sunday Bazaar really surprises me each time I visit it. Anyway the bottle caught my attention because it looked so forlorn hanging out with china teacups and shoddy models of the Colosseum on the dusty shelf. I had always seen impossible bottles enclosing secret parchments,love letters and what not in the movies and now I could see it for real. So yeah, the five-year old in me gleefully reached out and grabbed it off the shelf. It was a glorious moment,okayyyy? Okay. 

Its funny how little things in life make us incredibly looney, isnt it? They also make us ramble incessantly. You allll,go find yourself a Imp Bot while I board my ship. Ahoy!
