Big Update Today From EA

As everyone may or may not know, today is a big update day from EA as they release the new script changes to the game for their next expansion. Expansions and Game Packs are usually the big mod-breakers and I doubt this one will be any different.

As usual with this type of update, as soon as it comes out I will grab the update. I'll do tests to ensure mod functionality is working or not. As necessary, I will then start working on whatever changes are needed to stabalize the current version of the mod for the changes. I will do this for both the public and the Patreon pre-release.

A new 2024.3.1 will be released to the public with any changes necessary for it to work with the new version of the Sims 4 game. A new PR will be released to Patreon supporters with the same changes. No new features from the expansion changes will be included in this. It's just to fix existing mod-functions to work as they did before so players can still play their games without disruption.

If you are a user of many mods, you will likely want to disable auto-update on the EA App for the Sims 4 so you can still play your game until most of the mods you use are updated. I expect MCCC to be updated fairly quickly after the release from EA. I do have a doctor appointment right in the middle of the afternoon, though, so that may interfere a bit (Terrible timing, right? Why didn't EA wait?! :D)

I guess just one other note is in order. The public channels on all of the support Discord servers always get closed right when a patch happens. They do this for the same reason that we recommend people to disable auto-update on the EA App if they have a lot of mods which is the sheer number of mods that are broken cause the servers to be overwhelmed if they leave them open and the support team cannot help the people with genuine issues due to the number that are coming with errors due to now-broken mods.

As an update, I'm not seeing any issues with MCCC 2025.3.0 and the new version of Sims 4 released today. I'll give it a bit more time of testing and, if that still holds true, I'll update compatibility notes on the public releases to show they're working with today's release.

VERTUO - a sims 4 custom content collection.

introducing probably my favourite set i've created to date - the vertuo collection. i personally love coffee irl, i don't believe i go a day without it. this idea came about when i unfortunately broke my own nespresso machine ( lol ) and i went a lil crazy for about two weeks before my amazing sister gave me her one.

this set wouldn't be possible without the amazing & talented @littlbowbub, who allowed me to use their home barista machine for the functionality. i personally only ever use that machine as i find the in-game coffees to be boring without overrides.

i personally feel as though this is my most "maxis match" set i've created. from the beginning, i've always tried to create items that seamlessly go with the game style & other cc creators style - wether it be with the overall design or the simlish. i've learned alot in the two years i've been creating cc and i feel super proud of my progress - i hope you all do too ♡

Smør - Part Two

Happy Wednesday Friends & welcome to Part 2 of Smør!

This month I focused on the appliances and extra storage solutions required to make the kitchen complete. At first I really hadn't planned to make a fridge, but I quickly realised there was no way I couldn't include one as using. The fridge has to be my favourite item this month simply because of the slots included on the top and bottom shelves. This means that you can put any kind of decorative items you like inside of the fridge and the item will still be fully functional. I styled the fridge in the promo shot with the decorative cakes and cake boxes that came with part one. Now with all of the foundational pieces completed, next month we can move onto more storytelling items.
