what do you think the team was like before they became heroes?

It depends because each of them became hero/got superpowers at different age

Peter was big science nerd, big science enthusiast, very shy and quiet teen,... with superpowers also grew his confidence and he became more outgoing, made lot of new friends and overal became more social

Danny's life before being hero was all about training with monks to become one

for Sam there was nearly no change personality vise, he used to be exact same as with superpowers, maybe little less loud... he used to skate and spend lot of time outside due to wanting avoid his home, especially his father... also I think he was little bit of loner, just trying to find some peace without getting disturbed

Luke was problematic lol, I actually like the version in which Luke joins some gang for while and then changes his mind like "don't wanna be bad anymore, now we good"

Ava was happier, less stressed,... she didnt know about her father being white tiger at the moment, so she would wonder why he is so often away from home, but still she would spend good amount of time with him

I took inspo from one of the USM episodes for the adult or grown design ig you would call it

I don’t know I just feel even more drained from all the studying for my finals

Do you think they'll be any different with their gender swap versions? Like personality wise?

I think they would be only a little different

like Adrián (ava) would be overprotective of the rest of the team since it would be him and 4 girls

Samantha is 100% more confident than Sam and I mainly think that because being a short girl is deemed more okay by society than being a short guy (being short is like sam's number one insecurity), also she would suck at cooking (I just think it would be funny)

Petra is funnier than Peter, for some reason I like to think her jokes land better than his, idk why tho...

Lucy is pretty much the same as Luke, maybe she cares a little bit more about her appearance

Danielle is exactly the same as Danny, the only thing that's different is that she doesn't have that feeling of not fitting in, since she is a bit of a manic pixie dream girl and way more people tend to approach her

tbh they are such an accidental trio, when I was working of fist concepts of K I planned her to be friends with Sam, but after a while I started preferring them to be something like two siblings who constantly yell at each other...

also I always try to make relationships with ocs and cannon characters feel somewhat natural, for example I usually don't make characters who are friends with every cool/popular character bc for me it always feels bit boring since I love conflict and drama as you can see

another fun fact, originally K and Ava supposed to hate each other, but I was like wow making only girl on the team to be Ks enemy is kinda icky, but I worked around that and decided maybe reason they dislike each other might be because of their own insecurities,... and when they come to terms with that they realize that they are actually not that different from each other (both of them are just two lonely, bit messy girls and I really like that about them)

also I don't even know when Danny joined them lol, probably someone commented here something about them being friends and I was like yeee I see that lemme just add this to the lore

I don’t see enough people talk about how hard it must’ve been for Danny (despite being a the definition of rich) to navigate New York XD I feel he’d tried to use modern technology and it just becomes

like yeah, the show is set in early 2010s and it still must have been difficult for him to learn how modern world works, but can you imagine if the show was set in current time? like try to explain to someone who lived most of his life among monks current internet trends

Sam and Danny can cook very well.

Ava is good at cooking but hates doing it.

Peter and Luke once set kitchen on fire while making toasts,... they both can cook only basic, very low effort meals but when they are together in kitchen it becomes danger zone

I would like to hear more of your thoughts on the team breaking up after school. Honestly, it's very likely, considering that Peter has become very distant from the team in recent seasons (and for some reason, everyone pretends that Spider is the most important member of the team, even though he joined the team later than the others, albeit as the leader). Additionally, we should not forget that Danny will 100% leave the Shield and return to Kunlun, making it unlikely for him to maintain the same level of "intimacy" with the rest of the team.

tbh I think Peter wouldn t join another team, but after all the shit he went through as leader, he would probably just want to be on his own, leave the team and shield behind... but I actually prefer version where the team breaks up because of Peters death (he dies while saving Harry from becoming green goblin, due to team not working together), rest of the team is so traumatized afterwards that they just don t see point of pretending that they are team anymore,

first one to leave is Sam, he would probably join Guardians of the galaxy again or just try to save space on his own, but I know he will 100% leave the earth bc everything there would remind him of that day, when they lost Peter

Ava would quit whole hero stuff and focus on studying, but after graduation / some time spend at collage she would rejoin Shield as agent, but she would focus more on secret missions rather than fighting villains everyday in daylight... after Peters death she would hate being called hero, so that s why she would prefer being agent

after seeing everyone leave shield, Luke would do pretty much the same thing but he would still want to help people, but not under shield anymore (they all would hate shield after what happen to Peter),... so he start fighting villains and saving people as vigilante and eventually start Heroes for hire

Danny would ofc go back to Kunlun, but here is my take, he would stop right before the entrance and realize, that maybe this isn t the place where he is meant to stay for rest of his life... so after coming back to New York (this would take place 5 months after the incident), he would visit Luke and talk to him about everything, about how he for some reason couldn t move on, about his doubts and feeling like he is not worthy of being called hero anymore... long story short, he would join Luke (yay, at least two of them stays together)

I know this is little bit pessimistic take, but don t worry, in my version all their paths will cross again after few years

I love them, but I love teenage drama even more so:

surprise, their relationship is messyyy, its never ending cycle of emotional vulnerability after missions, accidental intimacy, panic and then arguing the next day like nothing happened

Ava is the first person who notices Peter s insomnia, he will stay awake in common room at 3AM editing footage, fixing web shooters, doomscrolling conspiracy forums, pretending he is fine, she starts silently sitting with him without saying anything, just reading something, sometimes they fall asleep on opposite sides of the couch (they are both night owls)

I really hate to write this bud Ava is never Peters first choice, in my head canon his fist girlfriend is Felicia, but his fist and only love is MJ, so its puts Ava in really painful place where she realizes she is not the one that Peter will choose in the end and it takes her lot of time to heal from that

but I think there is point at time where Peter is honestly interected in Ava... Peter eventually confesses his feelings, but not romantically, it happens during brutal argument after mission goes wrong, something like “you know what my problem is? every time you get hurt I stop thinking straight.”

Ava s version of affection is intensely physical but understated, like fixing his mask without asking, pulling him behind her during fights, resting her forehead against his for a second during late night talks, stealing his hoodies and denying it aggressively

the team slowly gets exhausted by the unresolved tension lol, Luke keeps trying to force them to talk things out, for the teams sake, Ava threatens to punch him if he mentions talking about feelings again

i saw your post on fury coulson and connors and now i can’t stop thinking about the people’s reactions to the time spidey had to run shield when fury was missing. any thoughts? it can be anyone, shield agents, the teams, avengers, whatever

tbh I really dislike the idea of Spidey running the shield, like there is so many pro agents and people who knows how that place operates, but no they make teenager to run the whole thing, like I just can imagine scenario in which this would actually happened and end up well

I think the most of the people would hate it, like I get it he is spiderman, but being a superhero doesn't make you capable of doing such a task like this, so I think other agents wouldn't like it but also Spidey wouldn't like being in charge of everything,... maybe when he is older it could work but otherwise I can't really see it
