they strike me as both very much being night owls. i think one of their favorite pastimes to do together is to go on long walks at night (through trails/forests/other natural areas) and their most profound conversations usually happen late at night when one or both of them can't sleep. they probably reach a point in their relationship where it becomes extremely normal for one of them to wake up the other for unnecessary reasons, to go somewhere spontaneously or just to talk

it's kind of already hinted at in canon that rose keeps and regularly updates analytic profiles of her friends, and although i don't think it's ever confirmed whether this is actually true or if it's a bit, she definitely has one for dave at the very least. i can imagine dave finding her notes on him and poring over every page

i think that they are both privately a little thrilled whenever the other person gets sick because it necessitates vulnerability and gives them an excuse to take care of each other without pretense
