Can I request some headcanons for Sanpu being jealous?
Pudding is...a very jealous girl. She grew up in a family with so much members, where the attention of the mother went to the betters. ‘Cause of this, Pudding is very insecure in her relations, and very jealous, because she’s scared of being replaced.
At the beginning of her relation with Sanji, she was very possessive. Obiouvsly, Sanji didn’t like it. He said to her that an healty relationship needs confidence, and not control over the partner. They worked a lot on this.
Years after this, Pudding learned how to control her jealous, but...not totally. Being a bit jealous is human.
When someone only make a compliment to Sanji, she don’t be jealous. She know that her boyfriend is beautiful! But when the person tries to flirt with Sanji (when Sanji flirts with someone, she doesn’t do anything, ‘cause usually his flirts with the girls are a joke), she intervenes. She “marks her territory”, usually by calling Sanji with orrible and sweet diminutives, like “honey”, or “love of my life”. She thinks they are a bit disgusting, but they work. If the person insists, she become very direct. She only say “he’s my boyfriend”. With a threatening and smiley glance, obiouvsly.
Sanji’s not a very jealous man. He knows that Pudding loves him, she’s his girlfriend, and they spent a lot of time together, so he thinks to not have many reasons to being jealous.
Usually, he don’t like jealously. He think it’s...useless. If you’re engaged with someone, you trust that person, and the person trust you. But he knows that many couples don’t have this confidence. He was very patient with the problem of jealously of Pudding, ‘cause he known that was the fault of her childhood. He knows that he had been lucky to grow with Zeff and not with the Vinsmoke family, and he known that for Pudding wasn’t the same.
But sometimes, even him becomes jealous. He’s not the only person who thinks that Pudding is very beauty. Many men (and woman) thinks the same, and someone of them has the audacity to flirt with an engaged girl. In these cases, he intervenes. He knows that Pudding can stop the person without him, but he also knows that Pudding likes when he became a little possessive.
He don’t say anything to the person. He only goes to his girlfriend and, in front of the poor dreamer, he kisses her. It’s easy, and it works very well. And the shocked face of the person who a second before was trying to steal his girlfriend is very funny to see.
