what was the deal about tadano buying the internet cafe just to hog it himself? i love tadano, but you can't spend time in the show establishing that homeless people live there and trying to do some commentary about it, only to have this rich guy buy it to occupy all that space by himself as a quick joke and for it to serve as a convenient location for later. that part just really bugged me.

To add on to that; i got so much more enjoyment and engagement watching Retsuko and Tadano have their two minutes of being together than an entire season and a half of Haida and Retsuko. I just… felt barely anything. I’m sorry. 😭

Haida and Retsuko would be so much more interesting if they just became a thruple with Tadano. Like, he’s clearly not over her. Tadano and Haida have chemistry. Haida and Retsuko have history.

It just makes perfect sense, but alas. 😔

Aggretsuko will be missed, it was one of the only shows on Netflix I still cared about. While the last two seasons were messy, they were a fun ride regardless.

Just gotta say it though, Retsuko and Haida still make zero sense as a couple. They had to drastically change Retsuko’s character the last two seasons in order to make it work at all. Not to mention, kinda an awful precedent to set with a plot that a guy can just keep bothering and harassing a woman, AFTER BEING TURNED DOWN LIKE A FEW TIMES, and in the end get her to cave. Like no, that’s not a good thing to show.

I would totally see a spin off with Shikabane btw Netflix, if that were in the cards 😁

Manaka: retsuko is such a precious friend to me. I saw what idol life did to her. She got a stalker and that would leave anybody fucked up. i will respect her choice and never force her into the limelight again
