hello!

so, it's been a few years since i posted on here, the main reason being that i have so many undertale/au ideas and keep wanting to hold onto them until the 'right time' when i can focus on them and give them the polish and development they need. what i've unfortunately come to the realization of is, that's probably never gonna happen.

but i still wanna share these stories with other people, so what i've decided to do is just talk about them. what i'm hoping is for the stories that are meant to be written talking about them in public will help me think over them in ways i haven't before and refresh my interest in them, and if they're not meant to be written will hopefully still serve as inspiration to myself or others. if any of these ideas make you think "hey I could do something with that!" i highly encourage y'all to take it for yourself!

regardless i don't wanna keep these ideas hidden away anymore and i hope whatever comes of this is enjoyable for everyone.

Hi I haven’t been posting much recently but hopefully that’ll change soon!

In the meantime I’ve been enthralled by @cocofinny’s swapfell fic ‘Panic Room’. Pay mind to the warnings if you decide to look it up but otherwise it’s a wonderful story with so many great (and also horrible) characters.

This is a thing that’s been on my mind for a while but didn’t feel compelled to address until the last post; I don’t tend to imagine myself when reading self-insert stories, I almost always substitute the character with one of these two.

Francis is nonbinary and I use them for stories where the character’s gender is listed either as ‘no gender’ or ‘reader’s gender’. They’re not Frisk, however a lot of their appearance is adapted from my interpretation of what a grownup Frisk might look like.

Yan was inspired by my reading a story where the reader’s name was listed as (y/n) and I wanted an easy substitute since reading (y/n) all the time is a bit jarring. After coming up with the name I decided to come up with an appearance, and I tend to imagine her in stories where the reader is specifically described as a woman. (gonna draw her fully when I get around to drawing fanart for a bittybones story I love very much, hopefully I can get to that sooner than later)

These three are my actual self-inserts. E is literally me and for now I’m only drawing her/me whenever I’m doing stuff for the lamia bittybone stuff.

Wren is an actual self-insert but I’m planning on using her for an au of the lamia stuff so I consider her more of an oc than literally me.

Raven is for all intents and purposes au Wren but I imagine her more as a combination of a reader insert and an oc (hence why hair/skin/eye color are blank for now). The only plan I have for her is a story that features underfell but who knows if/when i’ll ever get around to it.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while, fanart of the fic Thunderstruck by @me-and-my-gaster/@thunderstruck-edgelord. I love the fic so much and have been pestering the author with alias ‘cruel anon’ for literally about a year so it’s high time i make something to show my appreciation for the fic.

Every time i hear the song Venus Fly by Janelle Monae and Grimes I imagine The Miserable Lot (the band these two belong to) doing a cover/homage, so here it is, I hope you like it!

Hey, it’s been a bit! I had a different post planned with a few character sheets for these boys but I haven’t been able to get around to finishing it so here’s a doodle of me and my sneks out and about.

Some stuff; Banana is wearing a leather jacket (he loves punk rock but papyrus in canon also owned the leather jacket he lent undyne for her date), Cherry Cola wears a denim jacket inspired by a surprising love of country/folk music, and Leo just wears his default bomber jacket thing. Leo is usually more chill and Banana more assertive but since they’re out of their ‘territory’, Leo is a bit on edge (also must protect smol bean aka Cherry) and Banana is just enjoying the time away from home chores. Cherry Cola loves these outings and feels extremely protected with everyone right there, but will start panicking if in a very crowded space.

Also, I’ve decided as part of Cherry Cola’s backstory, his anxiety in the shop led to excessive teeth grinding which broke off one of his gold fangs and chipped the other. It’s fine and doesn’t cause any pain, it’s just that Cherry unfortunately won’t be able to hunt on his own. Oh well, more reason for Leo to protect him.

so i don't want to adopt more sneks because my boys are already a handful but i'd love to see them as either bittybones or full-size lamias, are you alright with us making 'au' (kinda) versions of the adoption scenarios? -tall woman anon

*I want people to enjoy their lamia bittybones as much as possible, and that includes being creative with them. If you want to do AU versions of their adoption scenarios, go for it! Want to design specific markings/patterns? Have fun! Your lamia has a personality that isn’t the same as the bio? That’s cool too! Please don’t ever let the “canon” of the lamia bittybones stifle your creativity.

*Just a quick note: I will always write or portray the lamia bittybones as “canon” when I do matchups, adoptions, or imagines. I do occasionally adopt headcanons that I think would fit the lamia bitty such as @puzzlingtraps purple-hued Kraits and @beige-eclipse‘s Chains sometime forming their SOUL bond with another lamia or bitty.

Ooo I’m almost late, but I managed to finish my piece for @theperfecta‘s fanart contest!  I decided to draw a scene from their “Little Red” story (blog is @askthefuentes) where Russel (human swap!papyrus) is comforting Red (bittybones fell!sans) until he falls asleep.  Red’s an adorable bean, Russel is a wonderful boy and I absolutely love this scene.  I hope y’all like it!

tall woman anon here, i'm having maybe a slight issue with cherry cola? i like to kiss the sneks and both leo and banana love it but cherry seems kinda apprehensive? at first i thought it was just the coral tsundere thing but i'm worried it could be that he's uncomfortable and doesn't want to push me away by saying 'no'. i don't know how to bring it up with him, and i don't think i can ask leo since cherry is always with him and might insist there's nothing wrong. -tall woman

*This is likely a situation caused by your Coral being a Cherry-type. Regular Corals may be tsundere and will often pretend to reject to dislike pets and kisses, but if they are actually uncomfortable, they will hiss, firmly tell you no, and often lash their tails rapidly in irritation. A Coral who has clearly said no to something may even bite if you don’t respect his boundaries.

*A Cherry-type is different. Cherry-type Corals fear rejection and worry that an owner they trust and have built a bond with may return them or stop caring about them. Though they still act standoffish and pretend to be indifferent to affection, they need the constant affirmation to soothe their anxiety about their place in the home. A Cherry-type who is uncomfortable with an action won’t be as reactive as a regular Coral due to his abandonment fear.

*The best thing to do is to take Cherry Cola aside (so he doesn’t feel embarrassed to speak openly), and ask if he’s ok with kisses. Remind him that you love him and want him to be comfortable and happy in his home.  He might prefer if you kiss your finger and press it to his cheek, or perhaps blow a kiss to him. If he’s self-conscious about receiving special treatment that the others will notice, just do the same type of kiss for the other two as well. I’m sure they will understand.

so i was singing dolly parton's 'i will always love you', getting really into it, and as i'm finishing i notice Cherry Cola practically sobbing. so i rush over, worried the song upset him since it's about leaving your loved one, and between the hiccups he blubbers out "pretty song". it's his favorite song, and now whenever he looks upset while i'm going to work or school i sing parts of the song, earning some crying laughter, followed by him seeing me off with a teary smile. -tall woman
