Hello and thank you for your sweet words! The fic will continue once I get all this (wide gesture at the life itself) under control. I had a few life bumps on the road and my life situation changed drastically compared to what was when I was writing the fic. I still think about it and I still want to finish the story. It will take time though, I'm afraid.

just re-read Thunderstruck for the millionth time, and it keeps getting better :] i haven’t checked up on this account in a long time so i don’t really know what’s going on and how you’re doing, BUT i hope it all gets better. if you ever come back to finish writing Thunderstruck, i’m sure many people will be glad :> hope you’re doing well!!!

Hello and thank you for your lovely message! It's so nice to wake up to an ask like this. I'm slowly getting better with whateverthefuck my life threw at me, and, to be honest, yesterday I ACTUALLY was talking about coming back to writing but changing the original idea for the arc 3 of the fic. So it MIGHT happen.

I can't promise any update yet, as I don't know how the future will actually roll for me (It's a mess for the past 3 years for everybody after all) and I might grab a smaller fic to warmup first. But there's been thoughts about writing TS, so keep your fingers crossed!

Additionally, I want to thank you all for your patience and wonderful comments and asks I've been receiving during this long ass hiatus - you're all fantastic and should feel fantastic!

Well, 2021 passed very quickly but at the same time it seemed like it dragged forever for me. Time is relative and whatnot. I had... well... not a good year, to say the least. It's slowly getting better and (fingers crossed) the 'gift' that kept on giving seems to be done with all the goddamn giving. If everything goes well, things should look brighter when January rolls in.

Reread this fic and it's just as amazing as I remember! I adore how this story takes time to really flesh out the side characters, the world building, and actually shows our main character (Mr. Edgeman) having friendships and flaws and drama (ex. the trial) and not ONLY romance (therefore making the romance itself feel more real and enjoyable to read/care about). I really like how every character is written too tbh, esp UT Papyrus, idk I just love how u write him. Hope to see more! No pressure<3

Little TS update

Ok, that BFAW chapter was a good warmup to see if I can still English properly enough for the writing to be comprehensible. The good news is - the inspiration juices ARE coming back.

I’ve checked on my notes and updated the Thunderstruck’s description on Ao3 - there will be 51 chapters in total, all already planned but not yet written. Before I start on those though, I need to... well... re-read the whole thing. Which will take some time, seeing how much I wrote already and how my schedule works.

Anyway, in short - my brain is focused on TS for the time being, when I’m not working on the commissions and Patreon, that is.

Keep your fingers crossed there will be something to show end January/start of February.

Okay, I love your take on SwapFell Rus. I’ve seen people portray him as anxious and gentle, but cutesy? That’s new and I wish I could see what he’d look like in his new clothes

I saw a lot of interpretations for SF Papyrus in my years in the fandom, but indeed, the cutesy one wasn’t amongst them. There are various reasons why Rus likes things he likes, though the “because he likes them” is also those reasons - let the boy like whatever he wants! His uncharacteristic tastes are both a part of him and a contrast to the world he comes from.

As for how he looks in his new clothes? As long as it’s so cute you get a whiplash just seeing it, it’s a valid look for him!

Well... dealing with the “finally the family is gone and we can rest but also work” time between the Christmas and the new year. I have quite a lot of drawing to catch up with. No rest for the wicked, I guess!

The year was fairly calm for me until the last quarter, so now it’s just time to regain the strength and deal with what’s to come in the future.
