What are the odds that one of the shards can be found in a previously visited world from the first season?

…and what happens if Rippen finds out about these shards (it may or may not actually happen, who knows) before or after the heroes find all of them?

I recently had the opportunity to illustrate six cards for the Asian American Literary Review’s project reimagining the major arcana through an Asian American lens. The deck will accompany Open in Emergency: A Special Issue on Asian American Mental Health.

This project is currently being funded on Kickstarter! Rewards include digital downloads, prints, the AALR tarot deck, and the full Open in Emergency issue.

What happened in your dream?

I was a detective in this very Kowloon Walled City type of structure where a lot of it was broken down but most of it on the higher levels were nice and clean, and I was hired to investigate something. Phil was someone who I was questioning, and then Phyllis showed up and were a couple for some reason and basically being super mysterious and weird about something involving the other 5, so I was like “ok, new mystery to solve”

And I had to comb through every corner looking for the others but all I could gather from everyone, and clues lying around, was that the 3 kids disappeared into thin air and Larry and Rippen weren’t speaking to each other. I found Larry upstairs in a really nice antique looking bookstore reading to a bunch of little kids like the cinnamon roll he is, and after questioning him about the disappearances and what happened between him and Rippen (which he didn’t wanna talk about), my purse got snatched and I went on this chase through the pipes of the structure to get it back (which I did). It basically led me to the bowels of the complex where Rippen lived and the hallways were all broken down and creepy. I found him but he looked really pissed off about something so instead of questioning him, I just sort of stalked him around the hallways and his apartment at nightfall to see what kind of intel I could gather.

That was basically the rest of the dream until I woke up. I never did find out what happened between Larry and Rippen or Phil and Phyllis to make them a couple, and pff so long kids I let y’all down the most.
