Growing up, I was always told at home and at school that it’s important to get a good job, get a good education, and become successful. My parents truly did want the best for me and I had that for a while - the cushy sitting in the office, graphic design job and I loved it. But guess what? I wore pants that had cute little pizza’s on it to a Zoom meeting today from my kitchen table and you know what? I have no regrets.
That’s my life motto these days: Live life with no regrets. Wear pajama pants to virtual meetings. Drink wine all day long. Go to the beach on a random afternoon instead of working. Adopt a dog - that’s my goal for tomorrow.
I’m all about this. Totally supporting you and your sweat pant dreams. I get it. I live in leggings and sports-bras at work. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me. But also, do you have to get a dog? Everyone here has a dog and I don’t understand it. I’m gonna have to get one just to fit in eventually.
