also cgi exists. if you need your disabled character to walk for a couple of scenes use a body double and green screen. this can also be used for trans characters prior to transition.

if it’s possible to make chris evans look 5ft nothing and skinnier than a maypole then it’s possible to cast disabled actors for disabled characters

The Spy Kids films had disabled actor Ricardo Montalbán play the kids’ disabled grandpa, and in the third movie he was CGI’d into an Iron-Man style bodysuit that made him look like he was able to walk and take part in a high-speed futuristic car race and other action sequences. And this was in 2003. If a goofy kids’ franchise can do it using embarassingly bad early 2000s CGI, you have literally no excuse.

Not to be a Debby downer but studios are probably gonna go with a recognizable actor or the cheapest option. Whatever will make the most and keep the most money. Cgi is not cheap and takes up time and resources. They directors might want to use disabled actors but depending on the character and budget it’s not always reasonable

But it's still kind of weird that Alice felt nothing for Eugeo if she is suppose to be the same Alice at the core because she had feelings for Selka and her parents the moment she knew about their existence despite not having memories about them too. Even Kirito could feel something when he saw Eugeo again even though his childhood memories about him got erased too. I guess the author really wanted to let Alice fall in love with Kirito 😕

Wow, I didn't thought a lot about that, I guess your right. Reki really wanted all female characters to fall in love with that dude.

About the Alice thing: I never understood this part tbh. I thought the Alice who went with Eugeo were only her memories, but at the same time the author refered to this Alice as a 'soul' who went with another 'soul' (Eugeo). So is it safe to say Alice split in two and the current Alice and old Alice represent the same person while their selves are separate? This is so confusing, especially since Eugeo's self was still the same when he became a knight.

Oh god, ok. I recommend you to not think about it a lot, but still I'll tell you my point of view.Of course it depends on each individuals way of understanding it.When Alice was made into a knight she lost all her remaining memories (of her childhood); so she turned into a total different being. In the other hand, when they made Eugeo into a knight, when he was already a teenager (or an adult, dunno).Well just going to the crucial part, Alice from then to the Alice from now were/are to different persons, to clarify that it wasn't another soul, because IAs in Underwolrd are just one "soul" so it's impossible to add another soul to Alice's body lol.I think of it as a double personality.The new Alice is or was in love with Kazuto, so that wasn't the Alice Eugeo knew.The old Alice (probably) liked Eugeo.So, when Eugeo died he took Alice's other personality with him, her "memories", her "soul".That's why Alice never remembered her past.You got my point?I answered your question? She didn't, because she didn't remember Eugeo. But when he died, the old Alice (her memories) went whit him.So we can say in a way "Alice" died whit Eugeo and went to the place where the souls in the STL go.(Or SLT?)(Don't remember)
