Help me every time i speak and use metaphors i come up with new ideas for this

My headcanon is that Grace understands that he's getting hatemail but is unfazed by it (because 1. he is/was a teacher and kids can be mean; 2. enough eridians admire him and will try to keep him safe; and 3. he called someone a staggering waste of carbon. He can give as good as he takes.). But he finds the linguistic mixups endearing, or at least amusing

I headcanon that (at least at first glance,) the members of the Eridian Hating Committee look pretty much identical to their Welcoming Committee counterparts except that their colors are inverted.

I think they'd try to impersonate the Welcoming Committee to make them look bad, but Grace doesn't fall for it since they're as different colors as they can be.

ok I gotta admit that when reading the ewc/ehc comics I sometimes skip to the last panel because the letters taken completely out of context can be even funnier. I know part of the joke is how the eridians justify what they said, but I love just being hit with “Do NOT touch yourself. We will do it for you <3” or some bs, it’s like going from 0% to 100% in a split second.
