I've noticed that a-ha has a lot under their belts. Albums, singles, deluxe editions, concert DVDs... However, not all of them are listed. I'm actually a bit surprised that their latest deluxe edition album that came out earlier this year and their Take-On-Me-only album isn't up on the site yet.
So I'm curious to know from you guys what their full discography looks like to every individual. They've most likely done so much stuff it'll be impossible to add all of it, but I'm interested what deluxe editions, limited stocks, and regional only stuff you've found around you? Bootlegs allowed (because I heard that people have found those, and wanna hear where they played and what years.)
Did anybody suddenly realise one day, just randomly, that Morten is actually wearing shoelaces around his neck here?
I don't know what I thought it was previously, but probably something closer to a tie. I just suddenly saw this...
i'm curious (sorry for randomly appearing in your inbox), what's your favourite a-ha song? or one of them, if it's hard to pick
I think The Sun Always Shines on T.V. But I struggle between my other favourites. Definitely Manhattan Skyline, I've Been Losing You, I Call Your Name and Slender Frame. They're all awesome, though. 🎶✨️
And it's cool, you don't have to apologise for showing up in my inbox. I'm always down for random questions!
I love how in the entirety of "The Thundermans" franchise, every member of the family has a little lightning bolt necklace. I'm not sure if it's more resembling the superhero trademark or more like a family crest, but I love how it links them all together. Even Barb has one. I haven't seen Hank wear one yet, but I have a feeling that it might be on his wedding ring and we just haven't seen it close enough (though I could still be wrong).
[P.S. Apologies for the images, I tried to fund the clearest ones through Pinterest for this, and these seemed to showcase them best.]
Magne and Pål had both shared a reel of this specific video but remade as a comedy cover where someone had removed the backing track to make it sound more realistic version of what everybody would've actually sounded like. Magne had said something along the lines of it being his favourite cover, if I recall correctly.
Now that video has seemed to have vanished. Does anyone have a link or know who made the video?
Am I having a blank out moment? Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
Fellow YouTube Users,
I've seen many YouTubers (more specifically with gaming creators) where they use these artistic/cartoonish banners. I've wanted to recreate something like them with my own ideas based off of my own interests.
Just one problem: I have no idea how they do this.
I cannot draw to save my life. But I also don't know how they create it. Do they draw it? Do they edit it on photoshop or other apps? Do they use AI?
Any ideas on how this whole process goes? If so, do let me know.
I am almost done the first season of "Victorious" and have noted one thing about Rex:
Both Rex and Robbie think that Rex is not a puppet. Everybody else does, but only without Robbie in the room. I have seen ventriloquists work, but this just seems weird.
The main part is how Robbie seems to need to gain his own independence from Rex, even the guidance counselor helps him overcome that. But it's always around Rex. Then there's the fact that Rex seems to talk to Robbie even when he's not on his hand, and even seems to be coming from the direction he is in (like the guidance counselor scene). Rex and Robbie also seem to be able to sing at the same time. And everybody seems uncomfortable even when Rex is just sitting there. Not to mention that they talk to Rex like he's not part of Robbie.
Obviously, I know that it's a kid's TV show (or supposed to be, considering who directed it) and that they probably didn't think it out in terms of how ventriloquism works in person, maybe they went all out in the special effects, and also had someone doing voice overs for the puppet.
Maybe I'm seeing too much into it and overanalysing it due to how different on stage is compared to TV, but I'm starting to think Rex might actually be possessed.
What do you guys think?
Possessed or Special Effects?
Does anybody know what ended up happening to Morten's finger? I've seen it in a couple of '88 interviews. The way he's able to move it suggests it's not broken (as I've had a broken finger), or at least is healing from being broken. Was he okay?
I love how in New Moon, Embry and Quil come over, before phasing, and tease Jacob about calling Bella his girlfriend and he defends himself, like "Uhhhhh... No...... I said she was a girl who was a friend...."
But then in Elipse when they're now a pack and can read each other's minds, when Bella comes over again and the whole pack is making fun about Jacob's conflict over calling her back, Jacob's just like, "Yeah..... I can't deny this now...."
Morten Harket's had a few questionable wardrobe choices that he wouldn't have worn back in the 80s, and that I really don't think suit him, but this one gets to me...
I feel like I'm looking at a video game Shaggy Roger's who's geared up to fight the monster in the mystery.
Am I just stupid? Why am I seeing Shaggy???
Fact or Fiction?
I've seen some commenters stating that they've read hate comments on Morten Harket and his divorce with Camillia Harket. Some have stated that he's a "womaniser", or "bisexual", or "a bad Christian". First two are wrong, if you've ever heard a word from this guy's interviews or read his autobiography, he states that he's perfectly straight and never pursued women like that. The only one of his girlfriends who ever did was Patrice whom Morten said he really did try to help her, but decided it was best to just break it off. I've been there with friends. And every church has different views. Like Chris Pratt. As of recently, he doesn't seem too "Christian", but he does seem a lot closer than many people who claim they are and actively prove it. And even with divorce in the Biblical way, people sin - but there is repentance. Only God truly knows Morten's heart and will therefore decide where he stands, not the world.
Anyway, back on track...
Interviews like this really get to me. I've also read a very few comments that said that in the 80s, he was against 'sex before marriage' (if any of you have more information as to whether this is real or not, please comment or link) which is fine. Some people also believe that that's Old Testament rules. Again, only God truly knows, and you can still repent for your sins. However, interviewers like this aren't teying to get to know him or even simply find out the truth. This woman is actively pushing for this. She could've said "is it true that you two flirt?" Or "what is your stance on this comment people say about you?" No. She says, herself, "are you flirting?" Seems like she's pushing a certain narrative.
And according to the two parties actually involved in the situation and legal work, there seems to be a mutual agreement, with no hate, that they spilt due to how both their jobs were working AND subtly mentioned that Lena wasn't the cause. (I've read translated and very hard to find articles, mainly in Camilla's perspective that prove this claim. Also in a documentary about Morten's life where Camilla spoke, she says the same thing, maybe with different words, herself.)
Also, I've heard that celebrities can have contracts with their ex-spouses that say they can't bad mouth them. And that's fine. But considering that they've been broken up longer than they've been together at this point, I really don't think it's necessary for Camilla to post about Morten's condition when Pål didn't, and those two are still in a band currently.
And considering how nosy the press are in every aspect, considering the fact that Morten punched a photographer who snapped pictures of him and Camilla when they first started dating and the fact that they guys would arrive in a new country for part of their tour and the hotel is immediately flooded with fans waiting for them, I highly doubt that the press would have found something at least a little concrete, not just people's opinions.
I'm not attempting to break into his personal life, nor am I trying to push any views. I just really enjoy reading, usually fantasy books, but this last year I've been enjoying reading things specifically about a-ha and expanding my knowledge on music in general. I made this post because I want to know your thoughts and views. Learn what the world outside thinks.
Which is why I post on this page.

NEW MOON ~~~
Beginning of the book:
Bella: Wait, is this why Edward won't change me? Because of my soul?
Carlisle: Think of it in reverse, would you take away his soul?
End of the book:
Bella: So... I'm going to let y'all decide on whether I should become a vampire or not.
Carlisle: Sure! This sounds like a blast! I'll even change you myself if Edward doesn't want to.
Fellow a-ha fans, I need your help.
As someone who loves knowing the extras or what-could-have-beens, I really enjoy collecting anniversary editions of books that hold more details or deleted scenes or deluxe edition versions of albums to hear what the songs were before they became the final product.
"Analogue", however, is not easily definable in terms of this.
According to their official website, there's only ever been one release of this album. No deluxe anything. Google, on the other hand, says otherwise.
Please inform me whether this is a 'don't trust Google' moment or just really hard to find (and possible track titles if there is a deluxe edition so that I'll know it is if I find it).
Thank you for your help.
Random Question: Does anybody know if there's an archive of where old magazines and newspapers go so you can, like, I don't know, maybe read 'em?
'Cause there were a lot back in the 80s that were dedicated to bands, and a part of me wants to read 'em all, 'cause I'm so interested in all that.
If any of you guys do know of any websites, or even just names of magazines (whether English or not English), please comment!
[*#I wasn't born in the 80s but my soul was*]
I have to say this:
She was not a good friend.
We can all excuse the fact that she didn't recognize her best friend since childhood because that's the lore of this specific superhero, for some reason. But we cannot excuse what she did to Lois in S2.
She realized that she can't be mad at Clark for keeping his identity a secret because it was protecting everyone he loved, so she takes it out on Lois. She blames her for keeping the secret from her and that this is inexcusable for a friend to do, which leads Lois to apologize later and say she convinced herself that it was "Clark's secret". WHICH IT REALLY WAS.
I imagine her thinking, 'Well, I can't be mad at Clark because he's saving lives by not telling anyone, so I'm going to take it out on the people he told directly not to tell anyone, which led to my daughter breaking up with his son. But I'm also not going to tell my daughter because she's more protected if she doesn't know."
The whole family are snakes. I don't know what happened between her and her mom, but it's obvious that it had an effect. Her husband manipulated her, she manipulated Lois, and her daughter manipulated Jordan.
I still can't get over the fact that this woman said that Jordan would be a horrible person if he didn't accept that her daughter kissed another girl at camp, but was completely okay for her daughter to dump him because he was distant. True, she didn't know he was training to be a superhero, but him being distant, especially after being told that his own girlfriend cheated on him, is never going to equate to the same thing.
I know this is kinda random and a little off the rails, but I just gotta talk about these guys:
Sodapop Patrick Curtis and Ponyboy Michael Curtis.
What even are those names? I know in the book, Ponyboy says his "dad was an original person", but to the point where your kids are gonna get bullied for their names???? And the only original part about Darry's name was the Jr. at the end of it. I've seen kids bullied for less of a weird name, and I've been bullied over my surname when someone with a similar surname - not even the same one - killed his girlfriend and ended up in court.
And the saddest part is that Michael sounds better than Ponyboy, but Sodapop sounds better than Patrick. I don't even know why I think this, it just sounds like it to me.
