I always headcanon Robbie as a fan of Weezer. I don't know, I just think he gives off the vibe :)

I saw an image on Pinterest and thought "Oh my god this is so Robbie Shapiro coded!" Which inspired me to draw all the Victorious characters (only did him, Jade, and Tori tho) This is one of the last drawings I did a few months ago before the worst art block in my whole life hit me. I don't think I will ever recover from it but I think I am okay with it because I don't even want to be an artist anymore lol

But anyways I hope you like it, cuz I certainly did not enjoy working on it BUT I do enjoy looking at it and I hope you do too :)

Liking Victorious in the big 26' was NOT on my bingo card...

ANYWAY!!! Here's is some headcanons for my Victorious rewrite!!

Also for this rewrite all the character's will have different "majors", meaning that they specify in one certain area of art! I'll list them for all the characters!

NOTE...MUCH OF THIS IS STILL A WIP AND I WOULD LOVE FEEDBACK TO MAKE THIS REWRITE BETTER!

Let's start with the girls! (Excluding Trina..I'll probably write a separate post for her)

Victoria “Tori” Vega

I haven't had much time to think about Tori, because I think she's already a pretty okay character, especially for this series.

Tori is made to be our eyes and ears because she is a "normal" girl going through a pretty dramatic change of entering a high school filled with some pretty "quirky" and alt people, which I think she would have a hard time adjust a bit.

For a major, she would definitely be a musical theater major! She would not only act but also sing and dance, taking both dance classes and voice lessons, and using to all combine into one major!

Tori's style would also probably stay the same, pretty much normal for the time period and stuff.

Also Tori would stay half white (maybe Irish descendant?) and half Latina (Puerto Rican).

Jade Wei, formerly Jade West

Jade is Asian! Specifically Chinese. I felt like changing many of the character's races because it would better represent the diversity that California has and is known for!

Jade's major is now Fine Arts! Most of the time her major isn't really important (unlike some characters where it would play a part in her personality. Also sometimes her major IS important to the plot, but we're changing some things here). This major would include taking some serious art classes and having a big gallery at the end of the school year, similar to the showcase.

Jade is emo. I KNOW this is a hot take since Jade in the OG show is alt/punk (I don't know how to describe her "aesthetic"), but I think this better represents Hollywood Arts because many arts schools have many alt people.

Catalina “Cat” Valentín, formerly Cat Valentine

Cat is Latina (I was specially thinking Ecuadorian..But that's still a WIP)! I felt like we could use more Latina characters since California is known for having a large population of Latinas

I also LOVED Cat's last name but I decided to change it to better reflect her hispanic roots.

For her major, she would be a Production major! Specifically she would do costume and makeup design. I took major inspiration from the episode "Tori the Zombie", where Cat took a makeup class.

For her style, I am so keeping her season 1 style (and personality)! I know one thing for sure, that she dyes her hair red because she felt like her natural hair (brown) was too basic.

I feel like she would play a lot with her outfits and makeup, as sort of a "test run" for some projects and finals.

André Harris

André is the character who mainly stays the same, similar to Tori. The only real "changes" is his importance and plot line in the show. He is ends up dating/liking multiple people, and is rather not thrown away like he is the actual series. I plan to make different posts further explain their personal plot lines and changes, i.e. style, personality, backstory.

His major is basically what he does in the actual series, songwriting and production! He's a songwriting and production major, so he sometimes writes original songs for the showcases and original musicals. He also helps produce music as well.

I'll basically get more in depth in the future, hopefully.

Bibek “Beck” Oraon, formerly Beck Oliver

Beck is one that changed the most. He is now Indian, like his actor, who is half Indian. I feel like he would be born or somewhat raised in India before he moved to America. OR, he was born in India, moved to Canada, lived there for a couple years then moves to LA. Of course, much of this is still WIP so I'm very open to feedback!

Beck is now a Filmmaking major! Beck in least some episodes is known to be on sets, and I feel like it would be interesting if he was film major. Maybe I'll explain this a bit more in a separate post (SORRY THIS POST IS GETTING SO LONG).

Beck's style seems to take heavy inspiration from 80's movies especially Bender from The Breakfast Club (My personal favorite John Hughes movie and movie the episode The Breakfast Bunch is based off of). Bender's styles included layering and flannel and more "punkish" style, so that's what I think he would wear, a long with maybe a piercing or two.

Robert "Robbie" Shapiro

Robbie is an acting major, but he especially likes acting in comedies, writing comedies, and doing stand up. Robbie overall is a very shy and awkward character, and has trouble saying what he truly wants. To combat this, he likes channeling his true thoughts and jokes through Rex, his puppet. Rex, in my version, is rather not the smack-talking puppet that hurts Robbies's ego, but rather used for comedic effect. Of course I feel divided on this but also I'm targeting Rex because I hate Rex....Anyway....

Robbie is known around the school for being a mediocre actor and comedian, but he got into Hollywood Arts because he had amazing grades in middle school/on the entry exam (I'm still figuring these things out..)

Robbie's style is very much layered clothing, kinda representing his shy nature. He would also would wear a ton of cheesy graphic tees.
